Dryer ran but did not dry clothing.
Best site I have ever used for repairs. First a list of what parts were needed was provided right from the start, no guessing. I followed all of the video's provided for installation instructions and and that was it. Very easy to make repairs and almost rebuilt my dated dryer to like new condition. Appliance was in very good physical condition just needed new components to bring it back. Highly recommend this site to anyone who can turn a wrench.

"Sqealing" noise when drum rotating
Disconnected power supply, removed front panel, removed tub support bracket, removed electrical lines from light and door switch( to have better access to install front guide kit), removed belt, removed drum, removed old rollers, installed new rollers and rest of installation was in reverse order of taking machine apart. In order to install the front guide kit(which I've never done before), I had to watch the installation instructions via you-tube. This was a tremendous aide as the instructions were simple and very adequate.

Water leaking from near the top of the washer.
Removed the front panel by removing 2 screws near the bottom of the panel, Then removed 2 bolts holding the top panel and lifted the top panel/cover. I turned on the washer to find the source of the leak. Loosened the clamp and Removed the rubber injector valve which had a hole, causing the leak. After receiving the new part, I Inserted the new rubber injector valve, re-attached the hose, and tightened the clamp around the hose and the injector valve. Turned on the washer to check to verify that the leak was fixed, and then closed the top cover, re-inserted the bolts. Then I re-attached the front cover with its 2 screws.

Loud Squealling While Drying
Take time to examine your machine before ordering parts, I did not need to expensive roller wheel kits , I needed two washers for the roller wheels. I pulled it apart and used the snap ring pliers to pull the roller wheels off,put the washer behind the wheel , I added a dab of hi temp grease to inside of roller and shaft. Put it back together. Quite as a new one. . The rest of the parts are straight forward . . Good luck

My drier was making rumbling noises.
I followed the video instructions, which were great by the way. Pretty easy to remove the front panel, then housing, then belt, then drum to expose drum support rollers and shafts. Removed old and replaced with new after cleaning lint up a bit. Unfortunately, there is still a bit of a rumble when the drier starts up. I fully expected the changed out parts to make a difference, but it was only a modest improvement. I need to do further trouble shooting and diagnosis.

Dryer makes horrible noise but drum still turns.
The old dilemma is whether to fix a >20y/o dryer, or just buy a new one. With minimal effort, it was easy to find the source of the noise by manually turning the drum. Noise in the front turned out to be the blower wheel which is located right in the front of the dryer. Removing about 6 screws shows the motor shaft wore out the plastic center of the blower wheel and so the blower wheel was not spinning properly and bouncing around in the housing. Typing in the Model # in PartSelect.com gave me the whole diagram and exactly what to order. Since I had the dryer apart anyway, I decided to go ahead and replace the felt seals and drum/motor belt and front glides. Easy instructions to do all of this is available on multiple YouTube videos. The only caveat is some of these items are held in w/ snap rings. It's possible to deal with snap rings using a small screwdriver and pliers but having special snap ring pliers makes this step a whole lot easier. In my case the drum support rollers and belt tensioner roller turned out to be fine and only needed some lubrication. Also, in this particular model, the felt seals are held on w/ sheet metal tabs and do not require the expensive heat resistant glue. All parts installed, dryer back together and works perfectly on the very first try! Saved me a ton of money and the wife is happy, thanks to this site!
