Loud Squealling While Drying
Take time to examine your machine before ordering parts, I did not need to expensive roller wheel kits , I needed two washers for the roller wheels. I pulled it apart and used the snap ring pliers to pull the roller wheels off,put the washer behind the wheel , I added a dab of hi temp grease to inside of roller and shaft. Put it back together. Quite as a new one. . The rest of the parts are straight forward . . Good luck Read more...

This part is located on the front bulkhead of the dryer and helps the drum to rotate smoothly and quietly. If you notice a screeching or metal-on-metal noise while your appliance is operating, you may need to replace the front glides. This genuine OEM front glide kit comes with a blue plastic glide, a brown cork pad, and two metallic rivets. We recommend replacing both sets of glides at the same time, which will require the purchase of two kits. To complete this repair, you will need a Philips screwdriver and a 5/16 nut-driver to remove the front panel and the bulkhead of the dryer, a drill with a 1/8-inch bit to remove the old rivets, and a rivet tool to install the new ones. Please ensure that you disconnect the power supply to your dryer before beginning this repair. While you have the appliance opened, we recommend vacuuming out any lint and debris, and inspecting the felt around the bulkhead and replacing if necessary.

"Sqealing" noise when drum rotating
Disconnected power supply, removed front panel, removed tub support bracket, removed electrical lines from light and door switch( to have better access to install front guide kit), removed belt, removed drum, removed old rollers, installed new rollers and rest of installation was in reverse order of taking machine apart. In order to install the front guide kit(which I've never done before), I had to watch the installation instructions via you-tube. This was a tremendous aide as the instructions were simple and very adequate. Read more...

This is a single OEM dryer drum belt. It measures 100 inches in length, 3/8 of an inch wide and has five ribs and four grooves. Keep in mind that this rubber drum belt will stretch over time, so if you are comparing your current belt to these specified measurements, they may not be exact. For this repair, you will need to disconnect the power, and remove the front panel and drum. You will need a 5/16 nut driver and a stubby Phillips screwdriver. While you are doing this repair, be careful not to let the belt fall into the groove in the drum, causing it to be too loose.

This lint filter is a genuine OEM replacement part for your dryer. The lint filter is used to trap debris and prevent it from clogging up your dryer vents. If your lint filter has become damaged it should be replaced. Using your dryer without a lint filter can be a serious fire hazard, along with decreasing the efficiency of the machine. No tools are required to replace this part, simply pull out the old filter and slide the new one into place.

My drier was making rumbling noises.
I followed the video instructions, which were great by the way. Pretty easy to remove the front panel, then housing, then belt, then drum to expose drum support rollers and shafts. Removed old and replaced with new after cleaning lint up a bit. Unfortunately, there is still a bit of a rumble when the drier starts up. I fully expected the changed out parts to make a difference, but it was only a modest improvement. I need to do further trouble shooting and diagnosis. Read more...

Water leaking from near the top of the washer.
Removed the front panel by removing 2 screws near the bottom of the panel, Then removed 2 bolts holding the top panel and lifted the top panel/cover. I turned on the washer to find the source of the leak. Loosened the clamp and Removed the rubber injector valve which had a hole, causing the leak. After receiving the new part, I Inserted the new rubber injector valve, re-attached the hose, and tightened the clamp around the hose and the injector valve. Turned on the washer to check to verify that the leak was fixed, and then closed the top cover, re-inserted the bolts. Then I re-attached the front cover with its 2 screws. Read more...

Dryer ran but did not dry clothing.
Best site I have ever used for repairs. First a list of what parts were needed was provided right from the start, no guessing. I followed all of the video's provided for installation instructions and and that was it. Very easy to make repairs and almost rebuilt my dated dryer to like new condition. Appliance was in very good physical condition just needed new components to bring it back. Highly recommend this site to anyone who can turn a wrench. Read more...

The blower wheel is responsible for blowing heat into the dryer drum, and out of the exhaust vent. If you notice that your dryer is taking too long to dry or is make unusually loud noises, it may be time to replace the blower wheel. This genuine OEM replacement part comes with a metallic clamp that holds the wheel in place. This part attaches to the drive motor shaft and can be accessed by removing the front panel of the dryer. Be sure to disconnect the power supply before beginning this repair.

Noisy 'rattling' sounds from Dryer ->bad blower fan wheel
Watched the video - really helped me get prepared. Very simple repair: first, unplug power! Removed front panel 2 screws & slowly pulled panel outward to release top clips (2min). At unit bottom, removed the blower fan grey cover (7 screws, 3min). Pulled spring washer (careful not to bend) from shaft and removed spring clip on blower fan wheel (5 min). Installed new blower fan wheel onto shaft with washer&clip. Reinstalled blower cover/screws and front panel/screws. Total time about 15min. Thanks for an easy, inexpensive fix! Read more...

Over time, the belts in your washer can either stretch out and sag, or become brittle and snap. When this happens, it can result in the belt losing its grip and will not be able to spin or drain the tub. If this happens, the belts will need to be replaced. This OEM belt kit includes the drive belt and the pump belt, which are both V-shaped, and made of black rubber. The pump belt is located between the motor and pump under the washer, and the drive belt is looped around the drive and motor pulley at the bottom of the machine. This repair is easiest to complete if the washer is placed on its back, and you will need to disconnect the power and water supply.

Washer motor was actuating but machine whined and emiitted smell of burning rubber. Agitator did not turn.
Disconnect washer from power, water inlet, and drain. Move machine out from installed position. Tilt machine against wall, back panel to wall. Remove belts, inspect the pump and agitator belts for excessive wear, burnishing, cracking. Remove front panel. Advance the water pump manually to confirm it is not stuck or clogged. Advance transmission (large counter weighted object on spindle immediately below tub) shaft to confirm freedom of movement. If it doesn't move, you should consider a new machine. Transmission repair is above DIYer level and too costly on older machine. If transmission shaft turns by hand, replace belts if necessary, and confirm tension to manufactures recommendation by adjusting position of the water pump. Reposition machine and attach water inlet, outlet, and power. Activate machine and confirm operation. Read more...
