Your refrigerator air filter should be replaced at least every 6 months to ensure its working as it should. This part is responsible for reducing common food odors and bacteria in the air, improving unpleasant smells and flavor of ice. The location of this part can vary from model to model; however, it is commonly found under a small cover on the back-middle-top of your refrigerator, which can usually be popped off quite easily. This is part does not include the indicator; it is the filter only.

filters needed replacing
I had to remove the top shelf to access the air filter. It was tricky getting the old filter out, but east to install the new one. The produce filter was much easier to replace since it is just inside the produce drawer. The compartment that holds the filter is removable and easy to open. Read more...

This part is the center crisper drawer slide rail which helps to support the crisper drawers in your refrigerator. If you have difficulty opening or closing your crispers, the center slide rail may be broken and needs to be replaced. Too much weight on the shelf above or in the crisper drawers may cause the center slide rail to break. Replacing this part is easy and does not require any tools. First remove any items off the crisper shelf along with the crisper drawers, then carefully remove the glass shelf. Once you can access the broken center slide rail, gently pull forward on the crisper shelf frame and pull the rail out. Take your new part and line up the locator tab at the rear of the rail, pull the crisper shelf forward, and drop the new rail into place. You can then replace the glass shelf and the crisper drawers, which should now easily slide in with the new rail installed. This is a genuine OEM part, made of white plastic and approximately 13.5 inches in length.

This clear convertible meat drawer is for the lower part of the refrigerator. It has an air duct that allows cold air to flow into the drawer from the freezer. It can be used to store meats and vegetables to help preserve them for longer. If the food that is kept inside it is going bad quicker than usual, it could be in need of a replacement. If the drawer is not moving in and out smoothly, check to make sure the tracks that it slides on are in good condition. If they are, the drawer itself may be damaged. Usually damage is visible, so do a quick inspection for cracks or warping. This part is sold separately and measures roughly 16 7/16 inches wide, 14 5/16 inches deep, 1 5/8 inches high, and like all the parts we sell, is OEM approved. Keep in mind that your refrigerator has multiple options for meat and vegetables drawers, so be sure to check your user manual to ensure you are ordering the one you need.

The lower door closing cam raises the door to keep it from touching the refrigerator liner when the door is closed. It fits both the left and right side of the refrigerator door. The most common reasons for replacing this part are the fridge door slips down when opened, the door does not open smoothly, or does not close by itself. This original part is made of durable black plastic, is approximately 1.1 inches by 1.5 inches, and is sold individually. To effectively install this part, you will need a 5/16 nut driver and a small flat blade screwdriver. Before you begin, disconnect the power and the water supply. We suggest lubricating this part before installing. To make the repair, remove the top hinge cover, then the top hinge support. Lift the door from the bottom support and remove the old door cams. Replace the cams and put the door back on the lower hinge support. Replace the top hinge support and that completes the repair.

The door would not stay closed, the closing cams were completely worn out.
This is a very simple repair, by far the hardest part was emptying all of the condiments out of the door. After that was done I removed the top hinge cover and then the hinge. I lifted the door off of the refrigerator and set it on a card table so that it was off the ground. I took the worn cams off of the door and the refrigerator cabinet (one screw for each of them). I screwed the new cams into position and lubricated them with petroleum jelly. Then I put the door back in position and reattached the top hinge. It works perfectly again. Read more...

This pantry end cap kit is used to keep your refrigerator drawer from sliding all the way out. This kit includes both the right and left side end caps, and the pins which hold them in place. The manufacturer recommends replacing both sides at once, even if only one is broken, to ensure your drawer slides smoothly. This part is sold as a kit, unfortunately the manufacturer does not supply these parts for sale individually. If your end caps no longer hold the drawer in place, or if they have become visibly damaged, they need to be replaced. The dimensions are approximately 9 inches by 25 inches, and it is made of durable white plastic. For this repair, start by removing the 3 screws holding the end cap in place. Next, remove the pin and end cap and replace with the new one.

It is recommended to replace your refrigerator water filter every 6 months or 200 gallons of water. This will ensure consistently good-tasting water that is free of pollutants. This NSF-certified filter is designed so it is easily accessible and simple to replace. It can be found in the front, bottom panel of your appliance. Remove your new filter from the packaging, making sure to remove the port cover. Pop out the older filter by pressing the push-button to the left of the filter, reapply the bottom cap to the new one, and slide it into the holder until you hear a click. To activate the filter, thoroughly run the dispenser, a loud air pressure sound is normal. This filter is sold individually.

This package contains one individual water filter that is NSF-certified, and OEM approved. To ensure that the filter is successfully removing contaminants, it will need to be replaced at least every 6 months or 200 gallons of water. This will ensure tasteless and odor-free water. It has approximate measurements of 2-1/2 inches deep, 1-1/2 inches wide, and 8 inches high. This is a simple installation. This filter is found on the interior of the refrigerator in a drop-down style housing. Pop out the old filter, slide the new filter in place and turn it until it clicks. Be careful not to over-tighten. Close the cover. Run your dispenser to activate the filter and clear out air bubbles. A loud air pressure sound is completely normal. Reset your water filter indicator if applicable.
