This is a genuine OEM replacement part. This surface burner plug-in block kit is designed for use with surface elements of your ranges and cooktops. This kit helps connect the wire harness to the surface element. If your element is not heating, or if it only heats intermittently you may have an issue with your terminal block. This is a newer-style terminal block kit, it includes the plastic receptacle block, two metal brackets, two pre-crimped hi-temp wire leads with terminals, two ceramic nuts, two screws, and heat shrinking insulators. Before beginning this repair make sure you have unplugged your appliance.

This genuine OEM kit includes the parts required to replace a surface burner receptable on your range. The kit comes with a plastic block, a metal bracket, high temperature wire nuts, and wires. The burner elements on the cooktop plug into the receptacle, and if the burner is not heating up properly, the receptacle may need to be replaced. Other signs that the receptacle is faulty is if there is corrosion on the element terminals. Before beginning this repair, please be sure to disconnect the power supply to your range. You will need a pair of wire strippers and a Phillips screwdriver for this installation.
