Belt was slipping, belt particles on the floor
I removed the screws to loosen the belt, took off the old belt and put on the new belt. Tightened it up and has been working ever since.
Thank you, Lester
you guys ship faster than anyone else. One day I order the part and a day or two later there it is. :)

Water pump failure
Disconnect electricity....remove front panel by gently prying up lid.... Remove two small screws at corners of front panel. You may need small nutdriver here or very small hands, you can easily swivel tub out of the way....once front panel is off water pump is at the bottom right... It is only connected by two squeeze clamps and 3 nuts... This is obviously where the adjustable wrench and nutdriver come in very handy... Otherwise this job will be a bit longer....be prepared for residual water to pour out...you will need towels or a bucket....replace old with new one by reversing the process...at this point tilt the entire washer on it's backside or at least at a 45 degree angle to access the bottom... Swivel the motor away to slack up the belt...remove belt and replace in reverse order of diassembling.... Should take no more than 15 minutes.... Good luck!!!!!

water dripping into tub even when washer was off
Lift washer top and flip over. There are 2 clips about an inch in from each side that you release with a flat screwdriver. Remove inlet valve assembly 1 screw. Remove valve from assembly 2 screws. Install new valve to assembly. Very simple procedure. However when searching for part website asks for model number of machine, but 2 different SERIAL numbers of same MODEL number use 2 different parts. Obviously, shut water off and start machine for a second to release pressure before starting install.

The auger section of this part would no longer stay attached to the lower agitator part due to prior repair work
Use a blade to pop off the fabric softener dispenser cup. Use socket and extension to unscrew the single hex bolt that attaches the assembly to the shaft. Lift off the assembly and recover the flat washer. Install the new assembly over the shaft and install the original hex bolt and washer. Tighten firmly. Snap the dispenser cup back in place.

Broken fins on agitator.
I went ot the Parts Select web site, and read what other people had done with the same problem. The advice was right on. Using the paper towel to hold the screw in place during reassembly ws great advice. Thanks for the heads- up.

The washer was making a fine squeeling noise that created a foul burning odor
Took the washer outside, turned the washer on its side to expose the bottom panel. Removed the old water pump (three screws and two hoses. Replaced with new water pump and connected all fittings. Real easy to do. Washer runs great now.

Getting real loud squeeking, wouldnt spin water out
I knew it was the belt because of all the noise it was making. I ordered the belt and it arrived real fast. I pulled the washer away from the wall and tipped it back at about a 45 degree angle against the wall so I could get under it. I propped it with a bucket. I then pulled the old belt off and spun the new one on. Real fast & easy.

Wash on one cycle, would not spin
I ordered timer from another supplier. Remove back control panel. Pull knob off timer. Unplug wire harness. replace timer, still didn't work. I replaced the control board and lid switch both very easy to do but to no avail. The motor would just hum so I removed the front panel and replaced the motor which was easy also. No luck. I therefore called PartsSelect.com and ordered a timer from them and VOILA!! All working great. After all that, it was indeed the timer and the "new" one I got from another online supplier was bad that they sent me.

Fans on the Agitator had broken off.
I popped off the fabric softener on top of the agitator. Used an extended arm on my socket set to remove the only nut holding the agitator on the motor assembly apparatus. The agitator came off with ease. Just reversed the procedure in replacing the new agitator. This was an easy job.

Washer had broken suspension spring, difficulty balancing during spin cycle
Removed entire cabinet from base, removed drive belt, removed suspension springs, removed tub and transmission together.
Removed 6 screws from brake housing to access snubber. Didn't have the special tool to compress the spring for reassembly, but used 3 longer screws to pull the brake housing back down...worked fine. Reinstalled transmission / tub and replaced all 6 springs. Reassembled cabinet. Unit spins great now...like new.
