Old Pump Stopped Draining The Machine- Impeller In Pump Wore Out
First- I unplugged and completely drained machine of water by putting hose at ground level near drain . Second- removed back plate to washer saving all hardware. Third- disconnected in and out hose to pump. Twisted pump gently as to pop it out of slots in bottom of machine. Fourth- disconnected wires to old pump hooked to new pump replaced pump, replaced hoses- tested machine then replaced back plate of machine. Done.

Belt Broke
Luckily, I found someone else with the same story, and read that you need the clutch assembly and the belt at the same time. One night when we started the washer, it made a metal seizing type squeal. There was smoke everywhere. After opening the washer, the belt burned through but the clutch had also seized which was the cause. Replace d both. Needle bearings were totally rusted. Must be leaking water somewhere. Just lift top, remove front cover (two screws inside the top). Prop up and secure washer. Loosen the motor bolt. Through the hole in bottom, fit socket to hex bolt on clutch. Our belt was already off as it broke in half. Remove clutch, slip new one on and make sure it goes all the way back on transmission. Place the one bolt back on. Two people are helpful here! Place new belt on grooves of motor pully (while person 2 holds the agitators still) and then work belt down and around clutch. Ours was a tight fit! Have a person pull back on motor as you tighten the one bolt you loosened. There is an in/lb rating on clutch bolt. Put washer back down and panel back together. Pretty easy repair to save tons on a new washer.
Ordered parts on a Friday at 3:05 pm, and they were delivered the next day! Excellent service!!! This saved our day!

Broken Pump
Roll washer out of drain pan on section of 3" PVC pipe. Unplug washer & disconnect hoses. Remove rear access panel with nutdriver. Disconnect wiring harness from pump. Disconnect hoses from pump using screwdriver and pliers. Twist pump counter-clockwise to separate from bottom of washer housing. Transfer electronic component from old to new pump. Install new pump in reverse order as above.
