one of the baffles came off
The design of the baffle assembly must be a little off. Seems that the baffles must come loose at the screw and it tends to cause the attachment nubs to wear. The parts were delivered in no time, had the screws to replace the old screws (which was cool) all in all, the install went without a hitch. Plus, the site is great, easy to identify parts and the order process is a piece of cake. Maybe your folks could come over and redesign our parts site!

Water spewing all through washer interior and floor.
Removed hot/cold water hoses from back of washer at water inlet valve. Pulled off top of washer by removing 3 screws at back of panel. Noted that water inlet valve had been damaged in move from storage. Pulled off 4 wires, 2 for hot and 2 for cold. Removed 1 screw holding inlet valve assembly to frame. Used pliers to release retainer ring on hose. Removed hose from valve outlet. Reversed process to install new valve.

Water Intlet Valve Stuck Open
Shut water off to washer, unhook hoses, removed back panel of washer, removed screw that holds the valve in place then unhooked the water line that connects to the washer and removed part. Place new inlet valve in position and hooked hoses and mounted it in place, put back panel back on and hooked hoses up and turned water on. Did a test wash and it worked

Both door latch parts broke, one on the door and the other on the washer.
When I looked at the website for latch repair they showed a video (can't remember which brand but not Amana) where you had to take off the top and front of the washer to get at the latch part on the washer. For the Amana I had, you simply had to pull out a portion of the rubber gasket held onto the washer by a wire/spring combination (you can take the wire off) to get at the latch assembly. You could then undo the three screws holding the latch to the washer, pull it out and unplug the three wiring connections to remove the old latch. Then plug connections into the new latch, reinstall, tighten screws and fit gasket and wire/spring assembly back together. Much easier than going thru the top and front of the washer!

Water inlet valve - srew to hold in place did not line up (piece has been modified by at least 1/4 inch.
Need to elongate the hole in the frame to allow the screw that holds the valve in place to be inserted. You could not even start it as is. Also it put pressure on the valve so it would not seat properly. Need to include in the instructions you may need to elongate this opening in order to complete this repair. Other than that is was extremely easy. Parts fit well. Video instructions were great. Other than not knowing about the valve screw placement changing both pieces were extremely easy. Washing machine was repaired within minutes and is functioning properly again. Even the diagnosis tool was excellent as I have no experience with repairing washing machines but your site helped me trouble shoot the issue, order the parts (and receive in a couple of days) and replace the defective pieces in minutes. Changing these 2 items got me up and running an days and cost significantly less than what a repairmen would have charged just to show up at the door. Appreciate all your help!

The hot water supply hose developed a bulge that was due to blow soon.
Shut off the hot water supply (pretty sharp eh?). Disconnected the hose from the hw supply and the at the connection to the washing machine. These had not been touched in at least 15 years and were somewhat tough to loosen but finally came ..... accessibility was a problem for the connection to the water supply as it was in a recessed wall box. Fortunately, we had some washers for the hose connections so the install was a snap. Hardest part of the whole job was moving the washing machine out from between the drier and the wash tub .... tight fit. Thanks for the quick service and to FED EX for their delivery. The delivery fellow was a real gentleman.

Washer flashed error code DL (door lock) and wouldn't start.
We followed another very helpful repair story. Unplug machine. Unscrew top back screws, remove top of washer. Reach inside from the top in the front of the machine. Remove screws holding latch in place, unplug the three plugs attached to latch. Replace with new door latch, screw it in place, replug the three plugs, put top of machine back on, replace screws on back and your'e done! Works great! Job made easy thanks to others helpfulness!

Washing Machine walking across the floor, and what started it was it wouldn't drain and it would get the error codes F and U don't remember the numbers that go with the codes, it was telling me it took to long to drain.
Slid the washer out, took the hoses off and the back panel then the front panel, found coins in the filter tray and a baby bottle plastic cap was sealinhg the drain going into the plastic filter housing (it fits perfectly) removed all the items and put the white plastic screw cap back on the drain. Next problem was the washer walking around the laundry room, upon fixing the drain problem noticed the front shock absorber was unhooked and two on the right side of the machine had leak some grease, rehook the front shock and ordered two new ones it don't walk around anymore and works smooth and quiet now. I also have to add that Parts Select has been absolutely GREAT had the parts, delivered when promised.
