No hot water from mixing valve.
Since manufacturers have finally put the mixing valve up in the control panel, it is much easier to get to. Unplug electrical power first. Then, unscrew the hot and cold supply hoses from the fittings. Remove the back-plane from the control panel and carefully lay it back to expose the mixing valve. Remove the wiring connector from the valve, and remove the mixing valve. The new valve is installed in reverse order. The very last step is to plug the washer electrical cord back in.

Replacing drain pump
The job was rather simple. After removing front panel with the aid of a putty knife to push back the spring clamps under the top panel, the pump is in plain view. Remove the two mounting screws and push back the spring clamps that secure the connection hoses. Squeezing the spring clamps that hold the hoses onto the pump can be a bit troublesome so I removed the spring clamps completely and replaced them with radiator hose clamps which made the job a whole lot easier. Replaced the front panel and the job was finished.

Tub would shake and the whole machine was threatening to jump
As the video described. The two rear dampening straps holding screws were only accessible from underneath making their installation much more difficult than the front ones which were accessible from the top.

Removed agitator with rope idea. One quick jerk and it came off. Removed coupling. Replaced with new coupling. Reinstalled agitator. Works fine. Note: I could not see anything wrong with the old coupling. It looked brand new with no noticeable wear!! Thanks for your help in recommending the part that most likely would fix the problem.Tom

washer leaked water
after reading repair stories, decided I should take front panel off and see where leak was coming from. taking the panel off was real pain but well worth as inside was dry! so I looked again and discovered a pin hole in drain hose that only leaked when tub was full. while I had panel off I noticed tub dampening straps were broken so went ahead and ordered those parts too.

All of the fins on the bottom had broken due to clothes getting caught in them.
Removed the softener despenser by pulling it straight up, then did the same with the agitator, except I had to turn it a little then pull straight up.
