WCSR4110TBAA General Electric Washer - Instructions

Replaced the agitator coupling in about 5 minutes, there was only one bolt and it went back togeather. THANK YOU Parts Select..........

First, turn off water faucets. Next remove control panel. water valve is in back, easily accessible, held in by 2 screws. Removed 2 water inlet hoses and one outlet hose held by a spring type hose clamp. Removed 4 wiring connectors from valve. reverse steps to reinstall.

This was an easy fix. I popped off the agitator, un bolted the agitator couplier and replaced it with the new one. The part arrived in 2 days, the job took 2 minuites. No calling or driving around to find the part, no service charge or repair bill. washer working like new!!

This was a very simple repair. I Pulled straight up on the agitator until it popped off. Then unscrewed the bolt that holds the coupling in place. Due to some corrosion and crud, it took a little effort to get the coupling off. Then I spent a couple minutes cleaning the tub and shaft. The new coupling slid on easily. I attached it with the new bolt, then put the agitator back on and pressed down until it snapped into place.

Unplugged washing machine pulled Agitator strait up removed screw from center of Agitator coupling . Replaced coupling put Agitator back on plugged in and done.

removed screws from control panel. pulled panel back to reach control valve and removed two screws holding valve. found that freezing caused one valve to leak. pushed valve back and reinstalled. That did not work so ordered a new valve, installed it and all worked find. don't forget to unplug washer from electricity and turn off water supply. Also the garage
floor needs water spill removed asap as the water froze on me and made it difficult to remove.

First, I removed the agitator by reaching in the washing machine and pulling up on the agitator until it popped off. Next, I removed the 1/4" bolt that attached the coupling to the spline. Then I removed the coupling. After removing it, I replaced it with a new one, installed a new bolt, and reattached the agitator. It took 2 days for me to get the part(ordered on a Sun)but only took me 10 minutes to repair.

I first looked it up on the Internet to see what would be the most simplest way of doing ... I found that brut force was the answer . Take the fabric softner cap off the top of the agitator then with both hands pull the whole agitator up with a lot of force. Once this is done you'll be able to see the coupling and a 7/16 bolt ( 1/4-20 ). Holding it to the metal shaft. Take the bolt out put the new nonestripped coupling in and the rest is a walk in the park.

It was really simple just pull up the agitator and take off the screw that holds the coupling down slide it off and put the new coupling on and you are done.

removed agitator and coupling, found splines stripped. replaced coupling and installed agitator.

So, I did an internet search using Hotpoint washer as my keywords and selected Partselect to find a new Dual Water Inlet valve. I found the part and called the company to place my order and the associate asked me for my model number to be sure it was the right one. It wasn't, only similar, and she located the correct one for me. I ordered it and it arrived quickly. I had it installed in less than 15 minutes and the washer works just fine now.

Reaching into the washer I placed both hands on the bottom of the agitater 180 degrees apart and lifted the agitater straight up out of the tub. Using a 7/16 socket I removed the coupling kit. The new one slid right on. I secured it with the new bolt supplied with the kit. The agitater went right back on the new coupler and I was done. Fast, simple and inexpensive. Repair was so simple. I used both hands to pull of the inside assembly of the washing machine. Loosened bolt with a pair of pliers. Replaced worn out agitator with new one along with new bolt. I tightened the bolt and pur back on the inside assembly and was done in less than five minutes. The part came to my house in only three days and the instructions were easy to read and understand!
