The Inner Tub Base Hub broke
Followed the instructions from internet videos and diagrams provided by GE behind the electric panel. The hub nut and remnants of the broken hub had to be ground off. As with the other repairers, the grinding presented some difficulty. Particular care must be taken not to grind into the shaft or other parts on it. Not having much experience in fixing appliances, it came as a surprise that the washer functioned normally after the job was completed. The effort took an afternoon and spilled into the evening.

Water leaking into washer tub
Turn the washer around and take off top back plate behind the controls. Fold controls forward out of the way. Disconnect electrical connection on triple valve by lifting holding clip slightly and pulling out plug. Remove clamp from hose at valve and pull off hose. Remove two screws and replace valve. Install new valve in reverse order.

Noisy Washing Machine, tub bangs around
The picture of how to depress the clips to remove the front was incorrect. The clips are 4" from the sides not immediately at the sides per the picture. The 4 rubber springs were only part of what was needed for the washer. The old gas dryer was still working. There are two more springs on the bottom of the tub missing not shown on diagrams, so it still sways side to side, bangs around and makes a lot of noise. After putting on the 4 rubber springs, it ran, but probably needed a new clutch also, because it wouldn't spin dry anymore. I ended up spending $2000 for new washer and dryer from Maytag, and throwing out these old machines today.

Water leaking (from pump)
Ordered new pump on Sunday - replaced on Wednesday. Removed front washer panel with putty knife to release latches. Used pliers to disconnect hose clamps. Lots of paper towels to sop up water in bottom of washer and on floor. Unhooked electrical wires. Socket to remove pump. Reverse actions to replace pump. It's "plug and play"!

My washer started leaking water out of the bottom.
I pushed a small screwdriver under the top lid and pulled the front out and lifted it out or the way. The rubber hose had two clamps holding it. One you loosen with a flat screwdriver and the other one you squeeze with pliers to remove hose. Then replace hose and put front back on. It's very simple.

Water not draining out of the washing machine
The front panel has to be taken off to access the washing machine pump. To do this I used a putty knife I inserted the putty knife in the slot at the top of the front panel where it meets the top of the machine to release the clip that holds the panel in place. Once the panel is off the pump is mounted to the bottom of the machine with two screws. There are also two hoses attached to the pump that need to be taken off. Before you do this you have to get as much water out of the machine as you can to minimize the amount of water that will come out when you disconnect the hoses. My recommendation is to replace the spring type hose clamps the manufacturer uses with a screw type hose clamp. These are much easier to put back on once the hoses are in place. You are not fighting the spring clamp while trying to put the hose on in a confined space. Then put the front panel back on. This may take about a half hour if you do not have too much clean up because you didn’t get enough water out of the machine.

Water dripping into washer when not in use
I had to replace the water fill nozzle on my GE washer, and having the instruction video on the parts page is a real time-saver. It shows how to remove each part on your washer in order to access the area where the part needs to be replaced. Start to finish, about 20 minutes. Easy peasy.

Water dripping into the washer when washer was not in use
I followed instructional video on partselect.com, it was very easy, but it didn't take care of the problem. I got to to order "TRIPLE WATER VALVE" and that did the trick. After opening the washer first time (for water fill nozzle), it took me even less time. You don't have to take the front panel off to replace the water valve.
