CW20T5A Crosley Washer - Instructions

first i removed the front panel unclamped the hoses unscrewed the 3 screws that hold it in pulled it out, opened the new one and actually dropped it in and it fell into place with the holes lining up inserted the screws and hose clamps and reinstalled the belt which fell off when the old pump was removed, put the front back on and gave it a test then let the wife do a load of wash it worked like new

Pulled that sucker out from the wall and leaned him back just enough to prop a case a beer under it. Slid up under there with the biggest dust bunny I ever seen. Yanked that old belt off and threw it away. Tried to uncoil the new one and it slapped me in the nose! Got it uncoiled and around the two smaller pulleys pulling the adjustable one in to it's limit and walked the belt around the big drum pulley. By the time my wife put down her coffee and came to see if she can lend me a hand I was done!.

Tilted machine back, put a paint can under it and did R & R with belts.

tipped the washer back, laid on the floor, and wrapped new belt around 3 pulleys. everything works as before.

Removed water lines and drain, removed back panel, removed drain lines from pump. Unscrewed 3 screws to remove pump. attached drain lines to new pump, screwed in new pump, reattached everything. Reinstalled belt (very easy, not like an altenator). done

Replaced the hose. two clamps and retainers. very basic repair

It was easy to replace the water pump

Took off belt and ran motor. No noise. Then took off drain pump and spun it by hand and felt rubbing on one spot. I figured the bearings were going bad, so I ordered the parts and replaced them.

Turned water off,tilted unit forward,removed lower rear cover,removed belt,laid towels around ,removed inlet hose and exit hose off pump,removed 3 screws holding pump,removed pump and installed new one,reversed order of disassemble, has been running great ever since.

replaced pulley and belt. Looked for a pulley for 1 week at retail stores. Found pulley on parts select

I first unplugged washer, removed the dials, removed the back cover over the timer, unscrewed the retaining screws of the timer, unpluged the timer, and reversed the procedure to install the new timer. I was very surprised with the speed of delivery of the timer as I ordered it during the holiday season and I expected delivery to take a week or more. I had the timer within three business days. Repair was very easy. I removed the old pulley from the motor shaft by breaking it. And then tapped the new one into place. It works great. DON'T buy a new motor for $120, just replace the pulley $6. This whirlpool pulley fits the Admiral motor perfectly!

Turn water off at the inlet valve of hose you are replacing. Disconnect inlet hose the washer and let water drain out in a bucket. Then remove old hose. Replace new hose to inlet valve then washer . Use pliers to tighten both ends. Turn on water to check leaks at both ends of hose.

My husband unhooked the water lines, unplugged the washer and remove the waste water hose, then we tipped it over and easy as pie the belt came off and the new one went right back on. I did not see any tears or breaks in the old belt, but it was stretched out a bit, and the washer is once again quiet. This also gave me an opportunity to clean under the washer, which we all know we don't do unless we have to. Cheap, quick, and easy fix for someone to do there self.

Went to website, looked up make and model, looked at photo's discription, studied it, and then went in and removed front panel, turned off water, removed clamps holding hoses too dishcharge pump, mopped up water, and then just reinstalled new piece, the way the old came out, re attached belt to pulley assembly, turned water back on, and did a test for leakage and wala washer back in working order in less than an hour, and saved hundreds of dollars with out maytag repair man.
