This display light was virtually invisable and both doors on the double wall oven had trouble opening and closing.
I removed the control panel to replace the electronic clock and and was very simple. Remove the screws beneath the assembly, then lift if off the flange at the top. If you have a cabinet door above, you may need to remove the door to provide enough space to lift up and remove the assembly from the flange. The other posts really helped in understanding how to remove the old clock assembly - only word of caution concerns the removal of the black electronic contact wire strip - you need to lift up on two small tabs on each side and it slips out easily.
The over door hinge assebly is described well in prior posts and is very simple. If you are replacing your hinges, just do all of them as I found they were all suffering from fatigue. Remember to place a small nail in the hole in the hinge to prevent the old hinge from snapping when you remove it. When you inspect you new hinge, you'll see they've placed a temporary piece in the hinge assembly so you can slide it into the holder on a slight angle. Then replace the screw and backet that holds the hinge in place. When complete, open the oven fully and remove the small metal piece so the hinge can close completely.
One post mentioned the need to replace the hinge post on the side of the oven that holds the hinge in place on the oven. I opted not to do this and the new hinges work perfectly without getting involved in removing this part.
I found this entire experience easy and efficient - for just over $200, we have a control display that we can see and two oven doors that open and close easily!

F1-1 and F3-1 error code
Very easy to repair, but you have to be able to pull your stove out. Two screws in the oven and then remove part of back cover of oven and one plug from there. Simple to do, but did not fix our problem. We are waiting repair now from service company as it looks like it needs a control panel. Worth trying yourself to fix the problem. Inexpensive part and easy to install. Also be sure to turn power off your oven to reset the control panel as this may fix the problem - try this first and also after installing new part - like rebooting a computer...

Top oven element works, but bottom element works only intermittently
Replaced the long Oven Sensor but have not resolved the root problem. Oven still will not reach required temperature. Bottom element becomes red hot, but turns off and will not start again.

Very Easy Repair
The door came off easily after I removed the two hinge covers that are attached to the oven. Taking the door off can be done with one person but ideally two.
The new parts fit in perfectly and the hinge pin used for shipping comes out easiest with a pair or wire cutters (you do not cut it just grab it and pull).
After that, re-assemble the door and drop in place. It was a snap.
FYI...the shipping was ultra fast and the price was great.
No issues whatsover with the entire process.

Digital clock too dim to read
The digital clock was a snape to install but the long oven sensor required installation from the back. This means removing the double oven from the cabinet. I'm saving this repair for the installation of new cabinets.

burned oven bulb
The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new light bulb in was not the problem.

Oven temperature lagging set temperature by almost 100F
Removed frame to cabinet lag screws
Slid oven out of cabinet (required because wire harness could not be pulled through inside of oven)
Removed two screws holding attaching sensor inside oven
Uncoupled wire harness
Installed new sensor in reverse order
Unfortunately, neither the new bake element or sensor fixed the problem, so I just ordered the more expensive control board -- hope that does it.

dimming display
Built in so removed 4 screws underneath display and lifted up (was a little tricky because of cabnet doors above)removed 2 plug in connectors and put unit on counter top. to remove ribbon connector push in on tabs on both sides, lightly pull up ribbon (the wider part of connector will come up about a 32nd of an inch and the ribbon will pull away from that, there are two small protusions on the connector that capture two holes in the ribbon) once you figure that out its a simple job.

Display became progressively dim, barely visible
Thanks for the hint from this forum.
My display became very dimm, eventually unreadable.
WIth suggestion from this forum, I replaced the Electronic Clock assembly. I took me about 15 minutes. The display works perfectly fine and makes the oven look like new with its nice bright digits.

Oven temperature all over the place
I slide the oven out from the counter and unpluged it. I removed all the oven racks. I then removed the machine screws that held the sheet metal that covered the back of the unit. This made it a lot easier to disconnect the long oven sensor wire and put the wire through the insulation. I removed the two screws on the inside of the oven that held the sensor onto the inside rear wall of the oven. The old sensor did not test too bad but the temperature is reaching the set temperature. I still had to adjust the oven temp up ten degrees using the control panel. I have learned that it takes a few cycles of the element going off and on during the warming to reach the desired set temperature. One more issue is that the buzzer goes off signaling that the set temperature has been reached when it has not. When I set it for 350 F the buzzerr goes off at 280 F and I have a good oven thermometer. I own three oven thermometers and they all read the same. We use to have nothing but Maytag appliances but no more. We have had issues with Maytag front loading washers and ranges. PartSelect is great. Good prices and fast delivery.
