water leaking out from under front of washer when it was in use
rolled washer up on its back used pliers to slide 2 hose clamps back on the hoses. pulled both hoses off pump. There are 2 metal type latches holding pump in place. Remove those by prying off with a screwdriver then you can remove the pump by lifting it off the motor shaft. Then install new pump on shaft making sure to align the square shoulders on pump shaft with water pump slots. Then just reverse the removal process hook water up and test to make sure no leaks. My pump had been dropped sometime between the factory and my getting it so I had to glue it back together where it had separated. Easier to fix than to send it back for replacement.

Water pump leaking
I received the water pump. (really quick by the way)
I propped the front of the washer up, removed the old pump and installed the new pump. Ran and test. Piece of cake. I wish I had a better story. Sorry.
It only took using common sense.

The drain pump was leaking water.
The repair was easy. Disconnected the water and drain lines. Tipped the washer on its back and used pliers to remove the clamps holding the drain lines. The pump was replaced and reattached to the drain lines.

Bleach dispenser broken
After 3 years of hard daily use, the small feet that hold the Bleach dispenser in place broke off. The new dispenser was easy to snap into place and now the washer is good as new.

Water pump suffered stress crack in front of pump causing the washing machine to leak
I pulled washing machine away from the wall . Unplugged unit. Turned off water and disconnected hot and cold water line. Laid washing machine on its side. Disconnected inlet and outlet lines from pump using a pair of pliers to squeeze hose clamps to enable removal of hoses. FLASHLIGHT is needed to view area. Pop off spring clips with a small screw driver. It's a little difficult getting hand back to remove back spring clip. Water pump has fitted stand offs that let the pump be installed and removed very easily and also enables proper installation orientation. Make sure you have a pair of gloves on to avoid sheet metal cuts during removal and installation.

Leaking washing machine.
First I removed the back of the machine after unplugging it and disconnecting from the water supply.
Then removed the shell.
Put water in the machine directly into the bin with a hose. Then watched for leaks. I immediately noticed the pump housing was leaking. So I removed the pump got the part number and ordered it online on this site.
The pump came in 3 days and I installed it. The hard part was putting the frame back on since it was slighly bent from another repair.
Other than real simple and I had my machine fixed for $37.

Removed cabinet, removed pump, installed pump (very easy), replaced cabinet (somewhat difficult until I figured out that I was installing a clip backward).

Water leaking when using washing machine
First I had to have my wife help me tip the washing machine over so we can get at the pump which we suspected was leaking.
We searched partselect.com and found the part and ordered it and it arrived after a few days.
At first the part won't fit because the metal rod that was supposed to rotate the pump was badly rusted. So we had to buy a file set ($9.95) from Home Depot to file the rust away so that the part will fit.
Filing took a long time to do and was very tedious but after the metal rod was filed away, the pump fit and that's all it took.
There were actually only 2 clamps you have to remove. One at the back and one out front that holds the pump in place. After removing those clamps then it was easy to attach the new pump (after filing the metal rod).
Thanks partselect.com :-)

Leaking water from Washing Machine
I am more than happy to relate this...my 15 month old Whirlpool washer was having a slow leak. Initially, I did not suspect it was the water pump because the appliance was fairly new. When I flipped the washer over, I saw clearly it was comming from the water pump. This pump comes right off after you snap off two clips and loosen two hose clamps. Takes all of 2 minutes! I took the part off and looked for a part number. Then I punched in the part number on my internet and low and behold parts select was one of the links that came up. I just cliqued my way through the order and FEDEXed the part. It came the NEXT BUSINESS DAY! I had it snapped back on and that took another 2 minutes. Don't pay anyone to do this, it's a shame...it's sooooo easy and Partsselect will ship you the part next day. This repair cost me 67 dollars (34 for the part and shipping). Could have easily been 150.00 by a repair man. EASY JOB...NO DOUBT ABOUT IT
