The instuctions say take the door off. I didnt find that necessary. Made sure the new gasket would fit. Pulled the old gasket out inline with the door instead of away. The gasket came off like an innertube on a bicycle. Installation of my new gasket was easy. I started on a corner hooking the lip behind the ledge and worked my way around the door. 10 min maybe. That's it

Removed glass shelf. Removed both crisper bowls. Removed broken rail and put new rail in! Hardest part was taking out all the items sitting on the glass shelf. Actual installation time under 1 minute.

The repair was very simple! And the website was also easy and accurate to use! I put the new rail in after taking out the glass shelf ( just like you do when you clean it) and snapped in the new piece. Voila! sliding drawers again.

Ordered new drawer. New drawer seems to be better than factory drawer (slightly thicker). Removed old, removed white handle from old (ran hot water over old to make it less prone to cracking when prying off), pushed old white handle onto new drawer, inserted new drawer, done. New drawer is great; better construction. Thanks.

1)pry out the old/defective light rocker switch with a screw driver (flat head) and pull out the cables 2)unplug two connectors at the end of light rocker switch 3) connect new light rocker into two connectors 4)push the wires inside and put back new light rocker switch

I did exactly as the video showed. I popped out the old switch, disconnected the two terminals, connected the new switch and put it back. The light now works! The refrigerator is over 25 years old and the switch works! What a great website this is. Couldn't of done the job without Partselect's help.

Repair was very easy. We removed the glass from the shelf above the crisper drawers and then just snapped the rail into the frame.

lift glass from shelf. Insert back end of bracket first and snap the front in place. Install both drawers and replace glass and insert both drawers

Took out the old drawer and put in the new one.

Needless to say sliding the new draw in did not take a wizard. But I was amazed at the ease of finding the part onb your web site and the promptness of shipping. Will definitely use you again if need be.

Simply stick a putty knife between the switch and refrig wall. Pop out old swith, remove both wires by pulling off switch by terminals. Throw switch out. Put wires on new switch and push into slot and all done. Nothing to it! Took me 5 minutes if th

After I did the prep work of removing the items inside the door the project took less than 15 minutes to get the repair job done. 1. Remove the door by taking off the top hinge cover on top of the door, remove the three screws with a socket wrench, remove the plastic gasket under the hinge, left door up and off the lower hinge pin 2. Place the new bracket on the freezer door hinge pin, flange side down 3. I had to place an extra spacer washer, which I had on hand, on top of the hinge bracket 4. Replace the door on the bottom hinge pin 5. My husband held the door in place as I reattached the top of the door with the plastic spacer and 3 screws I had removed 6. Replaced the plastic gasket and hinge cap on the top 7. With the door reattached, I removed the existing screw under the door directly below the new hinge bracket, lined up the hinge bracket to the screw hole and attached it in place. Much to my surprise and pleasure, the door swings perfectly, stopping where it should with the door shelves loaded! Thank you PartSelect for having a part that would work for my 16 year old refrigerator even though I had to add a washer shim to make the new part as thick as the original.

Replacement rail slipped into to the refrigerator in seconds! The best part of this story is the Excellence of customer service!!! After a long fruitless search for the replacement part, I found the website, ordered the part that I thought was appropriate. When I received it, i realized that it was too short. I phoned customer service, explained the situation and after giving the representative the make and model of my refrigerator, she promptly located the correct part and e-mailed instructions for return of the other part. I had spoken with the representative around noon on Wednesday and when I arrived home Thursday evening, the replacement part was already at my home!!!! I heartily commend this supplier. I had spoken to a representative when I first ordered the part. He straightened out a shipping address issue and was super! The second person that I spoke to was gracious and so efficient!
