GI5FSAXVY02 Whirlpool Refrigerator - Instructions

This grille just snapped into place without the use of tools. Couldn't have been easier. And the delivery was super fast; I ordered online one day and the item arrived the very next day.

Replaced motor it was not issue. Now I am stuck with a $300 motor I cannot return. When I say will not dispense ice everyone thinks it does not make ice. Auger does not turn to push ice out the door. Reason I thought it was auger motor when you push lever on door the auger turns about one eight of a turn. So, it would seem it is getting signal and power. Cannot find any articles on this specific issue. If anyone has a suggestion, please share.

I was hesitant to remove old seal, after I removed, I lined up new seal, and the seal popped into the slots very easily. Easy repair, no tools, worked great. The seal takes about 24 hour to seat itself for a great fit.

No product was sent in the box for the shaft I received an empty box from them cannot perform any repairs because I got no product from this company. Called customer service said due to Covid no customer service available when online and receive no customer service no refund no product no help

Took off old one and just replaced new, very easy and corrected problems!

I just removed the unit and replaced the mold/'heater with the new one and re-installed. It was very easy and didn't have to turn off the refer. or empty the frozen food.
However , there were not instruction that came with the mold/heater unit. I had no problem but other do-in-uselfers may need some basic instructons

Originally I took the module off and found that a small plastic part had broken. Both pieces were still there, so I super glued them together and reassembled the unit. It worked great for a couple months. I realized it needed a more permanent fix, so I found the model # and looked up the part. That was very easy on your website. I ordered the part expecting it to take 4-7 days. It was at my house in two days! 15 minutes later I was makin' ice, and makin' my wife happy. Thank you for an all around great experience. I'll definitely buy from you again.

Open the existing cover and carefully with the thumb and index fingers, pry the cover at over the left pin and remove the cover. Place the replacement onto the right pin and pry the left placing it over the left and you are done.

Googled how to replace door gaskets and watched a video and did what it said and was so easy. took longer to remove everything and the shelves and storage bins and wash down the refrigerator than replace the door gaskets.

Removed and disconnected the icemaker, cleaned all areas and disassembled the failed parts. Reassembled with the new parts inlcuded with the purchased package and resinstalled the unit. Started the unit and chedked for proper operation. Successful repair.

I was amazed when Fed Ex pulled up to our front door the following day after I ordered the parts, I was wondering what they were delivering and to my amazement it was the parts I had ordered from parts select the previous day , thank you so much , you are awesome. My 73 year old husband who is a 5 year cancer survivor had the part installed and we were ready to start making ice within 1 hour.He went by the installation information sent in by your customers. I first turned off the refrigerator. I then used a hair dryer to melt and release the ice by warming the bottom of the mould. Then I turned the fridge back on and let the icemaker discharge the ice. I then turned off the icemaker and ordered the new part. I unplugged the fridge, removed the icemaker (three screws and an electrical connection). Then I replaced the heater/tray with the new one and turned everything back on. Within a couple of hours we began having ice again.

I followed the video provided by Part Select. I also let the refrigerator stay unplugged overnight with all the doors open. This p-trap kit has fixed the leaks out of the front of the refrigerator. There is no ice build-up in the freezer. Perfect!

unscrewed old filter, screwed in new....good to go!
