I wasnt about to call Mr Appliance of Bayport NY the last time I called him I got a bill for $72.00 and he told me I needed a new frig. So I paid him then the next day I went to parts select and fixed it myself for about $50.00 But this time it was my Moms frig and the frig side (fresh food side) wasnt getting cold So again I went to parts select and put in a bimetel thermostat and it works perfect now. hardest part was pulling out the refrigerator. it took about five minutes. parts fit perfectly. only thing to look for is some excess flashing on the end of the tube. easily removed with a pocket knife. simple repair.

Moved the refrigerator out, unscrewed old fill tube, pulled it out, placed finger-screw on water line, screwed it on, put in new fill tube, re-screwed fill tube in place, put refrigerator back into place. Done!

When new parts arrived took them out of their packaging and just took off the broken end caps and replaced them with the new ones. As for the hinge plate it was already off so I just had to replace it with the new one. My next project will be to order the door seal and replace that since Part Select has that part in stock.

took out the old fill tube installed the new one and its working great. I really did not think that was going to be the problem thought it would be more than that but it was not. It took about 7min to change thanks for the fast shipping I will use you in the future.

Cover the entire metal retainer bar in painter's tape (the blue one) and use a 20-22" hacksaw to cut it to the correct length, going very slowly in your sawing.

Ordered new replacement parts. Took new parts to the work site and proceeded to install them. First removing the reminance of the old clips from the bar its self. Using a flat screw driver pri the metal tabs open so the old part can be removed. Reset the crimp in the metal bar and install the new clip into the ends of the metal bar. Insert the new clips into the appropiate holes in the door liner and pop into place. Very easy repair when you have the right parts.

On the left side I unscrewed the screw and replace it with a new one . The right side in had to take s file and file of the rivet. You can use a rivet gun or a metal screw to replaced the clip. Once it is finish open the refrigerator door to see how to line the kick plate into the clip. A piece of cake.

Replaced bracket-amazed to find how quickly I was able to id the part on this 20 year old refrigerator. Ordered the part and received it the next day! Thanks for the good service! , Bob

Water was already off. All I had to do was pull the fridge away from the wall, remove two screws that hold the fill tube onto the back of the frige, then remove the fill tube. Install the new fill tube, reinstall the two screws. Had to cut the water line straight and clean, slip on the new Compression nut and farrell and insert into the new fill tube, tighten-up, good-to-go.

R/R part, 3 screws reconnect 3 wires. easy.

Removed screws from the back of the part in the fridge. Pulled old part out. Measured the old part. Cut new part to fit. Replaced new part and tightened the screws. Worked perfectly.

Took socket out and replace it with new one. Very easy. W saved alot of money doing it ourself.

First, although I was SURE I knew what to do, I watched the repair video. I used needle nose pliers to push broken support into wall since I could not pull it out. Selected correct wall fixture, spread holder pins, and snapped into wall opening. Couldn't have been easier!!! Very useful site.
