Right hinge broken broken on housing of ice dispenser door flap. Had to make a Mini hinge part to hold rod which holds flapper spring in place
After fabricating a new part to hold the spring rod in place, so the dispenser flap would close tightly in place. Every thing else to reassemble was very easy.

Just as shown on your video. The refrigerator side was not sitting even, clunked and did not seal right. I decided to do.both sides, refrigerator and freezer while I was at it as our refrigerator is about 16 years old. Everything went in easily and saved us a lot of money. Very happy with the parts and repair video. Got the refrigerator nice and cleaned out while we were at it..Us and the refrigerator are breathing easier now..Yeepppeee....

Ice dispenser was freezing up due to the broken door
The repair went pretty easy. You must remove the cover and lift up the electronics to gain access. The instructions were a little vague since the new door/chute didn't have the electric heater wire. I eventually realized that it wasn't needed and replaced the door without further incident.
With a new valve in the back, I now have water and ice at the door after a couple year hiatus!
Thanks.

Water liking into the ice tray causing an iceberg
Removing the ice making assembly from the Ice compartment was not difficult except that two of the 3 screws we not visible without a mirror and then my nut driver was 5" long making it very tight quarters, so it was a time consuming process to remove them.
Once the 3 screws were removed the wiring harness was easily disconnected and the whole assembly came out.
The next step was to figure out how to remove the faulty part from the rest of the assembly.
After some strong persuasion the part would not separate from the control Assy. (The front of the unit) To complete the job I had to pull the front cover and unplug the motor and heater assy to expose two additional screws that had to be removed to pull the defective part out. The reassembly went quite easy except the 2 screws that you need a mirror to see. I was also trying to hurry because the frozen items were not holding all that well after the door was open for about an hour and a half. An instruction sheet showing the steps would have cut the time over 1/2!

Refrigerator light would not turn on.
I first replaced the switch and had no results, I then ordered the Light Socket Kit, and because I had the experience of removing the panel to replace the switch, it took a few minutes to remove the two screws behind the panel, removing the temperature control knobs and then releasing the face plate which is secured by tabs at the bottom. The kit came with extra connectors in case they were needed, but they were not in my case and so I pulled off the wires, pushed the old socket out and the new one in. Attaching the wires to the correct pins, I screwed in the light bulb to be sure that the fix was correct and determining that, I replaced the screws that held the panel in place. Voila, I'm a happy camper who found some outdated jars in the back corners of the newly lighted shelves.

The refridgerator will not run
After the front panel was removed, disconnected the timer and installed new in reverse order. The provided instructions could be more straight forward, I spent more time reading it than the installation itself.

Ice maker motor was buzzing. Unable to discharge ice.
I first turned off the refrigerator. I then used a hair dryer to melt and release the ice by warming the bottom of the mould. Then I turned the fridge back on and let the icemaker discharge the ice. I then turned off the icemaker and ordered the new part. I unplugged the fridge, removed the icemaker (three screws and an electrical connection). Then I replaced the heater/tray with the new one and turned everything back on. Within a couple of hours we began having ice again.

timing contact wheel was not making reliable contact
Repair was replacing motor kit. I did not use the plastic parts - ejector arm and separator. Went same as others described. I had removed ice maker from refrigerator although this was not necessary to replace motor unit(Please unplug refrigerator whether or not you remove the entire ice maker).
Removed three screws, removed old motor unit, inserted new unit making sure the ice level wire arm end was in slot. Ejector is D shaped so can't go in wrong. Replaced screws and replaced ice maker in freezer. Note - be sure the water tube is in the trough before trying to refasten ice maker.
Added note: If for whatever reason you need to remove ice maker note that there are three mounting screws (others have mentioned this) Completely remove one under middle of ice maker. For the two at top of ice maker - just loosen a few turns. The ice maker can be lifted and pulled away from the wall without removing these screws. Also there is a tab on the electrical wire connector for ice maker at back wall of freezer. Tab must be depressed with a flat tip screw driver while pulling out to remove wire connector. Tab is on wide side of connector facing inside of freezer.
Repair worked. Have lots of ice again.

The original drawer had chipped along the glides and would not close properly
The refrigerator had to be pulled away from the wall far enough to permit the door to open fully, but no tools were needed and no difficulty was encountered. Removed the old drawer and discarded it. Inserted the new drawer and closed the humidifier vent. Pushed the refrigerator back in place. Job done.

The ice door chute was not closing tightly, so there was a freeze/thaw problem which was slugging up the ice auger.
I killed the power to the fridge on my breaker box before I started the repair job. I popped the dispenser panel off by slipping two screwdrivers(one in each slot on the bottom of the panel). Then I removed two screws on the wire panel beneath in order to get to the ice door chute. (Take a mental note of how all the parts are positioned that you must replace.) I had to remove the pin in the ice door lever, then I replaced the spring and the ice door(flapper) with the new ice door support (timed release closure). The new ice door support doesn't require the white shroud that existed on the previous part. The most difficult part of this repair was having the patience to deal with the wire panel dangling in the way, and trying to contort myself in awkward positions to be able to see what I was doing. My hands are large, so it was difficult to maneuver them in order to make everything fit back together. If you have someone to hold the panel up out of the way while you are working, it would be much easier. If you have a short mechanic's creeper chair, it would be helpful!

ice maker quit working
I was amazed when Fed Ex pulled up to our front door the following day after I ordered the parts, I was wondering what they were delivering and to my amazement it was the parts I had ordered from parts select the previous day , thank you so much , you are awesome. My 73 year old husband who is a 5 year cancer survivor had the part installed and we were ready to start making ice within 1 hour.He went by the installation information sent in by your customers. Thank you all, Jo Mesplay
