Inlet water tube developed small split, and was leaking
Directions say to remove tube from filter inlet, but could only get one arm under the refrigerator. Connection was located about dead center under the box. Was much simpler to remove the two screws at the front that hold the filter itself in place. Whole unit slides right out and was 10 seconds to pop out old tube and insert new tube.

water supply line to refrigerator developed three pinholes
I watched the recommended you tube video multiple times. I made sure to have the tools and towels ready. I shut off the water supply line, and capped it, removed the backing, and inspected the back. By following the video, the rest was easy. I recommend removing any built up dust and dirt while you have the front apart.

Ice maker was leaking, and running too long (overflowing)
While it probably could have been remedied with the controller, the cost difference between the controller and the unit made me opt for the entire unit. The fridge is a side by side, which meant in order for me to see the screws I'd need to use a mirror. Once I got the socket on the nut, it wasn't difficult to back out the upper screws. The lower was a bit easier. The power cable however was frozen from years of attachment, and really defied removal. Once removed, the unit came out easily. In my case, the wires had to be removed from the old unit and reinstalled in the new. Not a big deal, but just another step. the issue I had was upon re-installation. The wire harness didn't want to reassemble, and since I could only fit one arm inside, it was difficult to get the connector attached and tightened. I was able to get a pair of channel locks across the connector and get it together. Once that was done I hung the unit back on the upper screws, verifying the fill tube was properly set. I then re-tightened the lower screw. I then turned on the water and it seemed to take a very long time before the unit actually filled with water. It's now been several hours and the ice is starting to once again collect in the bucket.

There was a split/leak in the main water supply line for the unit.
Replaced the supply line following the directions supplied by the video that was provided with the part order. I could not have done it as well an in the short amount of time required without the aid of the video. I would not have known that the water filter housing/unit had to be removed to facilitate the repair.

No Ice
I watched the demo on how to replace the ice marker and it was that simple. I removed three screws and unplugged it from the freezer. The difficult part was removing the wire on, off switch. You must pull it out carefully. It is a sung fit.

Could not get the replacement Ice Maker back on the top brackets...
Removal was easy...Removing and installing arm was a bit difficult...Called a service man to install...He also had a bit of difficulty, but had it done in less than 45 minutes... He mentioned that my brackets had a different set up than most...

Replace Leaky Ice maker
Removing the hex screws from the existing unit was trouble until I found the screwdriver attachment to the hex wrench. The MOLEX type power connector was an exact match for what was on the unit, so the conversion cables were not needed. Unit worked fine. No more leaks.

Ice maker died
I took out the bottom locking screw and loosened the top two screws. I took the old icemaker out. I disconnected the wiring harness at the ice maker. I attached the new icemaker and mounted it in place. I didn't have to use any of the included wiring harnesses since the old one worked fine. I did use the old wire bale. I'm fairly ungifted in fixing things so I was amazed at how easy and inexpensive this was. The icemaker started up right away. The whole thing probably cost less that just the service call minimum would have been.

Water leaking out of Icemaker
I undid two top screws and one bottom screw. The tools came out of my cheapo walmart tool kit. I disconnected the power connector. I then put the new Icemaker in and waited for ICE. 12 hours later still no ice. I contacted Parts Select and before I knew it an new Icemaker was ordered and delivered to my doorstep. I received several emails to confirm the refund and re-billing of icemaker. I was absolutly astonished by how well they responded. I figured weeks after the first replacement came in DOA but two days later I had Ice and all was well.

Ice maker would not stop making ice.
I viewed the video that was provided on partselect.com. The video was very instrumental in the removal and installation of the ice maker. I removed the old ice maker and installed the new ice marker, turn the water valve back on and had ice within 24 hours. When I reconnected the electrics and turned the water supply back on to the ice maker I thought it would fill with water right away, but it didn't. So I determined that the ice maker needed to run though a cycle, which took several hours, before it actually started making ice. With the video I was able to change the ice maker in less than a half an hour.
