Followed on line video

We emptied out both sides, refrigerator and freezer, and followed the instructions in your video. We turned it off and disconnected the power. We took off the freezer door first. It made it much easier to get the shelves out and reach way back into the freezer. We removed the light and cover, then the ice auger motor. The back panel was easy to lift and remove. The wire assembly was a little hard to understand at first, but when we figured it out it was easy to remove and replace the bimetal defrost thermostat. We did check the video when we had the wire harness out, to make sure we got it right. We reassembled the freezer's inside parts and reattached the door. Before we turned the power back on, we scrubbed down the entire refrigerator. When we turned the power back on, the refrigerator and freezer were operating quietly - no sparks or explosions or shorting out - hooray! And the problems were solved.
The most important resource is your video. It looked like something we could do, and then ordered the parts. Our repair took a long time because we checked the video so many times. Thank you so much for the great information and the excellent parts. We could not have done it without you.

Very easy to order from parts select. Took seconds to replace.

Replace the water solenoid vave. Shut refrigerator off. Removed water filter below the door. Removed the front cover. Reached back and shut the water valve off. Remover the 2 screws holding the water valve to the bracket. Took the electric connector off the valve. The fitting are tight. Hold the ring down, push on the tubing and then pull the tubing out. Replace the tubing in the new valve and the electric connector. Reverse the procedure. I ran a test before putting the front cover back on. It takes some time but can test amount of water in the cube maker with your fingure.

I determined that the ice cube maker was no longer heating the cubes so they could be released into the ice tray. After ordering a new unit, taking out four screws and disconnecting the quick disconnect of wires I plugged the new one in and we were back in business.

I pulled off the panel covering the part in the freezer cut and stripped the wires. Used crimper and connectors put the new part on put the wires band panel back on and plugged the refrigerator back in. Everything works just fine now.

Referencing the info/schematics you have on your website, I unscrewed/unattached top-front panel (carefully), from behind the panel you have to detach the wires (2) from the switch, pushed "in" the switch to remove, put in new switch and attach wires to test BEFORE remounting panel. Tada!! Thank you PartSelect! You saved me at least $80...would have been at least $100 to have a repair person come to the house!

These are instructions are for replacing the see-through covers (manufacturer part number WPW10131132) on the two upper door utility bins.

First it is easiest to remove the entire bins rather than hold open the fridge doors while you work.

There are two plastic studs on the bin body designed to fit through the holes in the bin cover. The tips of these studs will have to be simultaneously compressed with pliers (thus two sets of needle nose pliers) in order to slide the old cover past the studs to remove. Unless you have three hands, you will need another person to slide the cover left past the studs while you are handling both sets of pliers. Although the studs are pretty flexible, be careful not to break them off in the process. Once the cover is past the studs you can pull in free.

installing the new cover is easy. Since the studs are tapered, simply align with the holes on both ends of the the cover with the studs and apply pressure to the right. The cover will slide over the tapered studs and lock into place.

Once the new covers are installed, simply reinstall the complete bin back on the refrigerator door. Just push and snap in the tracks on the refrigerator door interior body.

Unplug power to refridg/freezer. Removed the screw in rt. rear bottom of ice maker to remove. After removing slightly, unplug pigtail. Remove ice maker completely. Remove large square cover from left side to expose motor. Remove screws to remove motor. Replce with new. Replace ice maker to freezer, plug pigtail back in, put screw back in rt rear bottom, plug refridg/freezer back into power source. Ice was making in about 2 1/2 hours.

With instructions from PartSelect.com this was an easy fix. I tested the motor's electric as suggested and was satisfied that the Motor Module (WPL W10190935) would correct the problem. UNPLUG THE REFRIGERATOR! I popped the outside plastic cover off to expose the unit. (1) remove the wire unit that runs the length of the cube maker (2) remove the 3 screws that secure the motor unit and carefully remove it (3) carefully line up the new unit, slide in place and replace the 3 screws (4) install the wire that was removed in step(1). Connect electric to the refrigerator and wait about 2 hours for your first ice cubes. PartSelect.com is the ONLY supplier that you will ever need! Great instructions and trouble shooting suggestions. Freezer worked great, refrigerator stopped getting cold and lots of ice formed around the condenser on the bottom of the refrigerator.
First I had a serious ice issue, ice build up around the bottom of the refrigerator and all through the cold air vents, condenser and cooling fan. I unplugged of the fridg and let defrost over night. I also took all the cold air vents out and cleaned them.
Then I followed the switch install video very simple switch install. Now the Refrigerator works Great nice and cold.

Removed ice maker from fridge. Removed motor assembly (3) screws on cover, and (2) screws inside. Removed mold (3 screws on bottom) and replaced everything in reverse order. Note: Turned ice maker off for several days while waiting for parts. The water line on this particular model will freeze inside the freezer if ice isn't made for several hours/days. You will have to defrost to begin making ice again.

I just followed the instructions that came with the unit, it was very easy. The old ice maker was taken out some time ago, so all I had to do was install the new one. It was three screws and one electrical plug. I removed the ice maker over a year ago and did not replace it at the time. I purchaced new handles also and they were easy to replace. I then decided to try the ice maker, I got tired of buying ice at the store. The order came in just two days right to my front door. It was a very easy fix and now I have a refrigerator full of ice. The Video on U tube was helpful. I have a side by side model and it was difficult to work in such tight quarters to attach the new part . I found that by removing the cable assembly it was much easier to attach (cut and crimp) the new part on the outside , then reinsert the assembly. The new part resolved my problem. Don't panic when you try and remove the cable assembly. Hope this is helpful.

The instructions are practically no help, but if you study the diagram, you can figure out the one screw you need to remove. Then the icemaker lift off of two brackets. I couldn't see how to use a screwdriver to unlock the bracket, but just applying mild pressure and pulling it forward brought it right out. I didn't have to change anything with the plug already intalled so it was very easy to pop in, lock the plug, pop into brackets, replace screw and I was in business. 24 hours later I had a bucket of ice! 15 minutes to figure out how to get old out and 5 min to replace new one. Fairly easy. Read posts here to get hints!
