Water dispenser wouldn't work and refrigerator made an almost ghost like howling sound. Replacement main board fixed the noise. I purchased the replacement board for the ice and water (front of the refer) but haven't installed it yet.
I watched the on live video. Piece of cake!

Freezer not getting cold enough to freeze ice cream
I took the advice off of your website about the only thing that will fix
the problem is change the run capacitor. I felt assured that I would
have a working refrigerator freezer after making this change. I was
pretty disheartened when it didn`t solve anything. I was not going to
take the new part back out after the small challenge of putting it in.
The next day I found out how to test the old capacitor and it was still
good. I will just have to eat the $49. I did learn not to take advice from
a website even if it seems like a sure thing

refrigerator and freezer would not cool down.
First, we called Sears Repair and had a technician come to our home. He stated the motherboard had gone bad probably due to a power surge (we had no surge protector on the appliance). His price for repair was $465.00. We opted to go online for the part and found it for $165.00 through PartSelect.com. It was a very simple procedure of removing the old and installing the new. A few turns with the nut driver to uncover the part, a few tugs with the pliers to disconnect and voila!.. The fridge was back to cooling in no time.

Frame lower pan had cracked severely in several places
The only tough part was getting all the other parts off the old frame so that I could attach them to the new frame. In particular, the center rail required a lot of prying to remove, and I was concerned that it would break. Also, removing the sliders for the crisper drawer vents was a bit tricky; I ended up having to break the tabs that hold the vent covers in place, removing the vent covers, then removing the sliders.
Once I had reclaimed all the other parts, putting the new assembly together was pretty easy. My only concern is that the frame does not quite seat into the fridge in the correct way, it rides over the support knobs at the front.

Refrigerator and freezer would stop cooling. Would happen suddenly without warning. Reset of refrigerator would solve the problem and it would run fine for several days before doing it again.
Only tool I used was 1/4 inch socket. Using the 1/4 inch socket, the screws were removed from the panel covering the control board. (this is on the back in the lower right corner). When this panel is off you are looking at the control board. Next remove all the plug in connectors. Don't worry about remembering where they go. They all are different and can only go in their specific place. After removing the connectors, pull the board out. Replace the plug in connectors before putting the new board back in , then snap the board back into place.(held in by four pins). Replace the cover.

Water filter light came on in my refrigerator.
Opened the water filter sleeve on the inside of my refrigerator. Removed the old water filter cartridge. It was a little stuck so I used a pliers to turn the cartridge counterclockwise. The old cartridge slipped out. I inserted the new cartridge and turned it in clockwise until it "clicked." Closed the water filter sleeve. Reset the button on my fridge. All set to go.

Clips on slide assembly had sheared of from excessive force in loading the storage bin
Removed shelf assmbly from the refrigerator, slid the draw out and removed the left side slide assembly. The most difficult part of the repair was removing the the air flow lever from the slide assembly. Once thelever was out it slid easily into the slide assembly and then the slide assembly simply snapped into place on the shelf bracket. Took approximately5 minutes to repair.

Would not cool top or bottom
Everything looked to be working but the compressor. As a pro checked every thing came down to a relay on the main board.
Just removed cover from back top left. marked and removed all wires. removed old board and installed new board very easy. Must read paper sent with it,
you may need to cut wires on some models.
