I snapped out the old cracked bar and snapped in the new one!

removed the screws and then replaced the rails. Easy

Just replace end cap and install. The beauty of this was the door was broken in the evening before July 4 when all retail had closed down early for the 4th weekend. I hit Part Select on the computer, scrolled down the partslist,looked at pictures and figured out from that the necessary piece I needed, hit the buy button and in less than 10 minutes had an order placed. July 7 UPS was at the door with the parts and my reefer was back in business. NO service call and no extra charges!!! Thank You, PartSelect!!!!

Frig parts had been scavenged in an apartment complex. Restoring socket was only a matter of plugging in two spade contacts and clipping in socket.

I needed a pliers to extract the shelf reatainer from its place in the door of the fridge.

I found the part in the partSelect catalog, ordered it, opened the box, and snapped the replacement part into place. I then popped the Shelf retainer back into place where it belonged.

Piece of cake.

I took the drawer and shelf out,unscrewed the old slide, then screwed the ne wone in. Put the shelf back in and then slid the drawere right in!

This was very easy. Just unscrew the broken side pieces and attach the new ones. If the rubber gaskets are still in good shape, gently pull them off and attach them to the new rails. I was very impressed with the service from Partselect.com. I gave them my appliance model number and they helped me find the right part. I ordered on Sunday evening and had the parts in hand by Tuesday. Great service! I will definitely use this company if I need more parts.

I took out all the stuff on the shelf, and the drawers.
then I took out the shelf, pulled off the cover so I could get at the screws.
I unscrewed 2 screws, threw out the old part, and screwed the new one into the shelf.
then I put the whole thing back together, in total the hardest part was cleaning off the shelves and then putting everything back in.
As a note, there was a gasket on the old rail that was not on this one. I had some silicone tabs that I used instead, but I really think the gasket should have been part of the order.

Removed the broken rail (2 screws), replaced the new rail (2 screws), reassembled all in about 8 minutes. It was AWESOME!!! I had spent hours trying to repair it and, fortunately, gave up and decided to look online for the part. Didn't even think that the part would still be available. Not only was it available but it arrived in 2 days! Anything that is broken in the future: I am going to your website first! Thank you!!!

Removed the broken part with a pliers.
Inserted end cap into shelf, then into door.

Remove bottom glass shelf, lift up -then remove entire drawer slide assembly.Remove plastic decorative front cover(it just snaps off) and unscrew left side drawer slide screws.replace with new part and screw in screws. Replace in bottom of fridge and replace glass shelf.So Easy that an average house wife like myself was able to do it alone.Almost as easy as finding the part needed on partselect.com! Thanks, it was much easier than apple pie.

Just as your video described, although due to the age of the fridge, it took a bit longer to remove the defective switch. Your video made this so simple, I can't imagine why we lived with a dark fridge for so long! I was ready to buy a whole new fridge, as repairmen are often nonexistent for small repairs. First i removed the vegetable drawers and slide rails. Removed two screws from the old rail then replaced it with the new one. Then replaced the vegetable drawers. It was that simple. The replaceement part was delivered to my home in threre days after i ordered it on line. It was better than going to a dealer and having them order one for me then having to make another trip to pick it up.

The repair was very simple. The longest part was taking everything off the shelf in the refrigerator so that the slide rail could be removed. Then when things were out, it was clear that the bottom of the refrigerator needed cleaning. The repair itself was done quickly. The cleaning (yuck) took longer! this is a great site because the part came quickly and it was very easy to select just what was needed.

The entire frame that holds the two crisper drawers pulls right out. After that, it's just a matter of unscrewing the broken part, snapping in and screwing the new part and sliding the whole thing back in.
