FFHI2131QP3 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

Unscrewed old part. 2 screws. Screwed on new part. Viola!! Easy peasy! Quickest and most convenient repair ever!

Our refrigerator door shelf retainer had broken on the side which basically put one shelf out of commission in our fridge. I looked up our fridge on partselect and found the correct retainer and ordered it. The part came very quickly, within just a few days. If fit perfectly and I'm very happy with the part, the speed of delivery, and ease of ordering. I will definitely use partselect again.

I ordered the part, it arrived within 48 hours. I opened the fridge and put the shelf in perfectly!

I called in because the model # of the refrigerator did not show up on the website. The cust. srvc. rep looked it up and found the part. It was reasonably priced, I received it in a matter of days and it fit perfectly. Thank you! We were preparing to put the condo on the market and broke the shelf while cleaning. It was great to have a resource for a reasonably priced replacement and quick shipment.

I removed the glass from the cover, removed the 2 crispier pans and removed and discarded the broken cover. I installed the new cover by making sure the back was flush against the back wall of the refrigerator. After that I replaced the glass and drawers and it was as good as new.

The part was perfect for the door. It snapped into place
on the door.

I unplugged the fridge and unscrewed the back cover,unscrewwd the two screws holding the water valve in place and the water line to the ice maker and the electrical connection and install the new water valve,then buttoned everything back up and plugged the fridge back in and it is working great,making ice as normal.

Turn off ice maker
Slide wire harness shield off connector
Disconnected harness
Loosened 2 wall screws
Remove old ice maker
Installed new one reversing process

grab gasket on a corner and pull...new gasket push raised rib into grove....your Done!!!

After checking the capacitor and 3 in 1 starter run relay for continuity and both measuring , I was able to remove the old parts and install the new parts for the refrigerator after unplugging the unit. I also checked the new parts prior to installing. I also went on Parts Select and watched some very helpful videos. Thanks a lot for your help desk for going above and beyond to ensure that I ordered the correct part! ????

I found a couple of videos online of a similar product fix to get a lay of the land. When I got the part, I unplugged the unit and turned off the water. It was easy to take off the back panel and remove the old water intake valve to swap it out for the new one. Once I attached everything again I could see that the valve was taking up water but it didnt seem to be going all the way to the icemaker. I gave it some time and by the next day, there was fresh ice!

Easy peasey just slipped it in

I broke the glass shelf in my refrigerator. I had trouble navigating the website, so I called the customer service line, and the lady was lovely to speak with, and ordered my part quickly! In 2 days I had the part, and it fit perfectly!

You tube is my best friend for DIY repair. I supported the door with wood blocks, removed the bottom bracket and was able to slide the refrigerator door down and out without removing the freezer door. Replaced both hinge bearings and door stop and washer on bottom hinge and slid the door back into place. Door is very light when empty. Fast and easy, door opens and closes smoothly and no problem with condensation anymore.
