Part was damaged. Called YOUR customer service number and was told I needed to call Frigidaire . After being advised of over an hour wait each time - when I finally got through I was disconnected three timesThe fourth time I was told by a Frigidaire CSR that they had no order number to go by since the part was shipped by you. Definately NOT HAPPY with either your company or Frigidaire!

removed lower panel in freezer, sniped off old defrost thermostat.

Spliced in new part. reconnected power and it's up and running.

I followed the instruction video.

First I defrosted the entire unit, both sides for 24 hours. Restarted, I now have water dispensing. (It had apparently frozen) Next I took out the ice crushing part and took it apart, (a few screws) by removing the broken floppy piece; the small plastic floppy door that allows ice to crush, replaced this small piece, rather than replacing the entire big plastic piece that I ordered. Used a slot screw driver removed the old floppy piece that was broken and removed the same piece from the new one and switched them out. Reassembled the entire unit (a few screws), put the ice back in and it works great. I got the instructions for taking apart this from this site, however, it was fairly easy to figure out. Just be patient with the plastic parts.

First,read "how to" on the internet because the thermostat comes with no instructions and unplug refer. Second, remove food and lower rear panel. Third, pull off thermostat from tube it clips to, unhook wire harness,and cut wires.Fourth,add heat shrink tubing from store(that supplied is way too big) and connect wires with automotive connectors;shrink-seal tubing with flame.Fifth, re-install everything, and replace food.Sixth,use a thermometer to check temp and adjust controls as needed.

The tabs were broken by kids it took 10 minutes to repair on all 4 tabs you have to remove the push pins completed to get the new tabs to fit right

Replaced wall pins pulling center pins removeing set new ones replaced drawers. Damm Kids Busted the old ones it was easy to find your web site , parts and purchasse items as this was a new one It was diffacullt to use drawers

Use pliers to remove the broken support. Clear the remaining insert pieces with screwdriver/pliers and insert the replacement part.

unplug power from ref removed old light socket only difference wired a little different checked new socket compaired to old checked terminal ends small big looked at wires big,little plugged up put in new light blub plugged ref power back on work power off pushed socket bac in power on works

I used a flat head screwdriver to pry open the front of the socket as I pushed the socket toward the freezer side. I unplugged the two wires connected to the socket then re-connected the two wires to the new socket and popped the new socket back in. I then put a new light bulb in and we had light again in the fridge.

Placed the bin on the rack and slid into place
