The ice crusher flap was broken.
Took out the ice box, dumped the ice. Let warm up a bit. Then took out the housing and installed the new one. Works great. Saved a lot of money! Only took a couple days to receive the part. Great service.

It took about 5 minutes to pull the old seal out and replace with the new one. Simple enough for a 71 year old woman to do alone.

The drive blade was worn and wouldn't turn the drum
First off make sure you have a good quality Phillips screw driver. When the blade is worn out you can disassemble the ice maker with out removing the front. But to reassemble the front cover must be removed. Do yourself a favor and buy the drum and nut also. I am a mechanic by trade so the tools and repair was really easy. Be careful of the ice crusher BLADES they are very sharp. If your not mechanically inclined take pictures before disassembly, that will help you greatly. Hope this helps someone. Thanks Rory

the drive blade for ice maker was rusted
first copy the explored view of all the parts ' ice maker tray ' then just take it apart slowly you need to get the blades back in the correct order and position thats what the exploded view is for in case you forget then you replace the blade and reassemble , it take a good hour .
