EI23BC35KSAA Electrolux Refrigerator - Instructions

I followed previous directions, and would recommend them! Briefly, I removed the plastic covers for the water filter, water tubes, temperature control switches to allow removal using a screwdriver and a nutdriver(I think)to remove the hexagonal screws. I also removed the water filter before beginning. I pressed the blue thingies in the back towards the base to remove the water supply lines. It was a bit tricky, and took the bulk of the repair time, but they came lose once enough pressure was applied. I took out the old filter base, put in the new one, attached the water lines, and put back all the covers. Everything comes apart very easily, and went back together very easily. A simple repair that had us back in ice and filtered water within an hour!

Used socket set and screw drivers to attach ordered hinge, thankfully we had the screws just not the hinge. Wonderful to be able to find and order on line! Thanks so much!!!

I followed the instructions from your website that I found when ordering the part. It could not have been any easier if I had set in a class room environment. Thanks for all the help and saving me the cost of having someone do a 15 minute repair for 1 hour of labor cost. Turned off the refrigerator, removed the bottom drawer from refrigerator, then removed the glider bars for the drawer on the left side where the filter chamber is. Removed the filter and then removed the plastic peace guarding the filter chamber. Once that was all removed we removed the screws holding the filter base in place. Now that everything was exposed we removed the inlet and outlet lines from the filter base by pushing in the nobs inside the base and pulling the lines out with some slight elbow grease. After that we just proceeded in reverse. We plugged the filter in after the base was secure to make sure that the fix worked. The repair worked like a charm, was relatively simple and now our fridge is all better with water and ice without a large repair bill :o)

Remove the crisper drawers. Lift the crisper frame and shelf up and out. Place on a flat surface glass side down. Remove all the Phillips screws holding the frame and the 4 drawer slides. Replace the frame and reassemble.

Undone the water line that comes up the back of the refrigerator and pulled the water tube out the back of the refrigerator and reinstalled the new one and reinstalled the water line. Done
