Ice Maker quit working
Had to Test Seloind. It Was OK. Then tested Motor Motor For Ice Maker. It Was Bad. Went Online Looked Up Parts For My Unit. They Were Shipped in a Timely Manner, only a few days. Installed parts in less than 15 minutes. Went very easy. Thank You

Both light bulbs had been replaced, but lights did not turn on.
I tried to remove the old light switch using a putty knife and a hammer. It was hard to compress the plastic tabs to pull it back through the hole, but all of a sudden, the lights came on. I guess banging on the switch freed-up the contacts. The new switch is now a spare part in case I need it.

Lost power

Ordered ejector arm.
No instructions with part. Found a picture on line and changed the arm, but it didn't fix the problem. Fairly easy after figured out what needed to be done to get to the part.

Switch didn't work
followed the video as instructed. Saved two repairman calls, one to find the problem, one to install. Net savings was about $130.00

Original front grille was lost after kitchen remodel
I did a search on the internet and was directed to the Parts Select website. Searching for the part I needed was easy. I called the 800 number and was helped verifying the part and availability. The part was ordered and it arrived in two business days. Unfortunately the part did not fit very well. I would have had to modify the part to even attempt to make it fit. I emailed your site and explained my problem and asked if I could return it. I received a return email with directions and information on how to return it. I was very pleased with the service and would not hesitate to order again from Parts Select.com.

Light switch went bad
Simply stick a putty knife between the switch and refrig wall. Pop out old swith, remove both wires by pulling off switch by terminals. Throw switch out. Put wires on new switch and push into slot and all done. Nothing to it! Took me 5 minutes if th

Needed a new bulb under the microwave.
After unplugging the microwave and removing the screw, I removed the old bulb and put in the new one!! I made sure it was in securely and the difference in the light was awesome! I use this light when I bake bread and let it rise inside the microwave, but DO NOT turn it on. The heat from this light helps the bread to rise properly!!

Replace filter cap and filter ( lost filter cap)
Order new filter cap and filter ,remove old filter, follow instructions be sure to push new filter hard until it clicks!!

broken water filter cap
new filter cap fit perfectly, but I couldn't get filter in or out. Called appliance repair person who pushed it in -- no problem. I just didn't have enough arm force to push it in.

Broken cap on water filter
With new cap, align slots on cap with grooves on water filter, and snap in place. Easy.

Water filter cap on my Whirlpool refrigerator was inadvertently disposed of in one of my earliest filter change efforts. I needed to replace it for esthetics and personal peace of mind.
Ordered the replacement filter cap. Received it, cut open plastic shipping envelope after unsuccessful attempts to tear envelope by hand, snapped cap in place; Wallaah, project completed successfully!!!
