Light in the refrigerator didn't work
I did exactly as the video showed. I popped out the old switch, disconnected the two terminals, connected the new switch and put it back. The light now works! The refrigerator is over 25 years old and the switch works! What a great website this is. Couldn't of done the job without Partselect's help.

ice maker had always leaked. We were not able to use it.
After several repairmen and still leaking, I did my own diagnosis. I went to Partselect and got the part the NEXT DAY!! Followed directions from video on line and it took less than15 mins.! Now we have more ice than we need! Thanks Partselect!!!

Temp in the refrig side was too high. Freezer OK
I unpluged the refrig, removed the shelves and the back panel on the freezer side of the unit. This exposed the fan motor and fan blade. I removed two screws holding the fan unit in place, unpluged the wires connecting the fan unit to power, and then removed two other screws securing the fan motor to the bracket. I removed the fan motor blade from the old unit and installed it on the new fam motor. I replaced the fan unit into the bracket, pluged the wires back into the fan motor and secured the motor to the refrig. Replaced the back panel and shelves, pluged the refrig into the wall.....easy.

ice maker stopped making ice
Partselect was great, but I "Gilligan-ed" on the fix changing both the icemaker AND water feed solenoid, BEFORE determining the white rubber water feeder tube that installs from back of fridge and feeds ice maker tray inside of freezer was frozen/ blocked. Make sure you check this FIRST, by proding a screw driver up the tube inside freezer and/ or pulling feeder tube out from back of fridge. If the blockage is substantial enough, it will make removal difficult until melts and tube contracts. Good luck!!

Water not turning on to fill icemaker tray
We were not hearing the water turning on to fill the icemaker tray. Took a chance it was the inlet valve. We were right. Removed old one, found on the lower back side of the frig. Unplugged electric supply, plugged new one in and refastened. In 5 minutes we were hearing the water turn on to fill the tray! Thanks
