Lights inside refrigerator not working
I used a flat-head screwdriver to pop out the old light rocker switch. Then, I unplugged the wires, plugged them into the new light rocker switch, and then popped the new switch into the hole. That's it! Lights began working again.

Light Switch broke
An easy job for smaller hands. Removed the two bolts holding the light cover. Removed two electrical connections from the old switch by pinching the retaining clip, removed the switch, snapped in the new one and re-attached the connectors. Your online illustrations helped me to know that the plastic housing for the light switch would only swing down so far and was not intended to be removed. Saved me from breaking that plastic cover's tabs. This home repair saved me more than 5 times the cost of hiring a professional to do it. Very happy homeowner.

The light switch on the refridgerator broke - no light.
Once I saw the replacement part I understood how to pry out the switch with a small screwdriver. Then just unplug the old one, plug in the new one and pop it into place.

The PartSelect site made it easy to correctly identify the correct part, it was inexpensive, and the shipping was fast.

I'm very pleased!

My local Maytag dealer could not locate this part
My Maytag refrigerator is 17 years old, and the shelf on the door needed a part. I went to 2 different Maytag dealers, but they told me the part is not available for appliances this old. I found the part I needed here, and it was pretty easy to install, once I figured out how to remove the broken part. The trick was to punch out the center of the old part with a small screwdriver, and then put it back on the new part, to hold it in place. I can now use my shelf again!

plastic clip broke off
tab broke due to someone put too many items on the shelp pushing the retention wall out. Pulled the end piece off the tray, put the new one on, the clipped the end piece back into the door. Easy fix, have full use of the shelf again with out spending a lot more for someone else to fix it or even more on a new fridge. Second time I have used this service with the same results.

Old control broke and I couldn't adjust the temperature
I had to adjust the tension wings on the shaft slightly so they would grip the new control. The new control knob slipped right on to the shaft and now I can tell what temperature the refrigerator is positioned at or reposition without having to use a pair of pliers to do it. PartSelect is the easiest and fastest service I've ever used.

There was no light on in refrig area
Just replaced the switch, but unfortunately that was not the problem; nor was it the bulb....so I am back to square one.
But Parts Select is a great place to order from. Thank you.

light not working in fridge
It was so easy!

Thanks for the rush to my home on the part.

I just unscrewed the plate that locks in the light switch (screwdriver) and unplugged the old faulty part and plugged in the new switch, screwed the cover back on and I was done!

Easy!

And I am not Mr. Fix-it!

the shelf hook broke on one side
I was able to quickly poke out the plastic snap that held in the hook . This allowed me to push the hook back up in the hole with a screwdriver and snap it back together. I had to put two toothpicks in the hooks to keep the hooks completely pulled against the shelf so I could snap it on. The toothpicks were the key to getting it snapped in.

Shelf hooks broke
Replaced the part however the new rivets are not the same as the old rivets. Old ones have a flat head that doesn't interfere with re-attaching the shelf to the door and the old ones are slightly larger in diameter keeping them from slipping out when you re-attach the shelf to the door. Not happy at all about the repair. If I decide to change the position of the shelf the rivets & hooks will fall out everytime. QUITE ANNOYING!

Broken Freezer Door Shelf Trim End Cap
The end cap's clip that connects the lower door shelf trim to the freezer door is a "T" shape. One side of my clip had broken, so I had an "L", so end cap connection to freezer door was loose (wobbly).

Fix: Disassembly: Gently lift and tilt the trim (and attached end cap) to allow the broken clip to exit from its mounting slot. Holding the trim with one hand, gently wiggle and pull the broken end cap with the other hand to remove it from the trim.

Reassembly: Holding the trim with one hand, gently wiggle and push the new end cap with the other hand to attach it to the trim. Gently push and tilt the trim (and attached end cap) to allow the lower side of the clip to enter the mounting slot. Gently push and tilt the trim (and attached end cap) to allow the upper side of the clip to enter the mounting slot. Gently lift the trim (and attached end cap) until the clip snaps into place.
