this was so simple.. attach with 2 screws and plug in and done.. less than a minute.. to be honest it took me longer to put the oven back together than installing the new part. lol

After we put the latch pins in, the door was easily lifted off. We placed the door on the table and unscrewed the trim pieces. The new trim pieces went into place after we cleaned the door. We slipped the door back on the oven and removed the hinge pins.

Unscrewed old pan and screwed on new one.

Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you

It was worth the money for that little screw, since I didn't have to run all over trying to find the right one.

Removed the floor of the oven. Removed the flame difuser covering the burner. Igniter was in plain sight. Turned on the oven and saw that the element in the igniter did not glow. Removed the igniter. Found a replacement on this site. Ordered the replacement part, which I received 3 or 4 days later. Installed the new igniter. Turned on the oven. Saw the igniter element turn bright red. Replaced the difuser and the oven floor. Turned on the oven and bake 2 loaves of sour dough bread.

Pulled racks and covers out of oven. Moved stove away from wall. removed bolts holding igniter. Disconnected wiring harness. Reverse process to install new part.

First time was very difficult I tried to make the panel fit into the frame. Broke both side pieces of the trim.Even thouth I broke the trim PartSelect replaced them. I did not expect that.Second time it was easy. Remove the handle first and then the panel slides into the top and bottom only. It does not slide into the side of the frame but sits on top of it. Ordered the part from you it came the next day didn't need to pay for upgraded shipping, nice. Followed the easy instructions on your site. It had all the right hardware it literally clipped on the wires and bingo worked like a champion. I've done this on many ovens it sure beats calling an appliance repairman and getting ripped off for a 15 minute job. Thanks.

Remember how you remove the glass. The side brackets go under the glass.

The first challenge is always how to get the appliance apart; in this case how to open the top of the stove. There are two clips one on each side towards the front that you need to push in to release the top. However before you do this you need to unscrew and remove each of the burners from the top of the stove. After that, push the clips in with a flat blade screwdriver from each side to lift up the top. You will need to remove completely the top back plate on the rear of the appliance to get to the igniter module where you plug in the wires from the individual igniters. Then you also need to remove the top four screws from the lower rear plate to allow it to be pulled open enough to help thread the wire from the new igniter through. After that you simply figure out which wire (they are individually colored based on their position on the burner) and disconnect from the igniter module. Carefully pull it out watching where it came from so you can rout the new wire in a similar manner. Then remove it completely pulling it through the top of the stove and replace with the new igniter. Reverse the steps to put everything back together and you should be good to go. Be prepared to take a little extra time to clean the cook top as once you remove the burner you will see everything that has over the years accumulated between the burner and the stove top. All together it took me about a 1/2 hour (including the cleaning).

remove burner - 2 phillips head screws. Raise top - cut wire to ignitor. Strip wires and connect with a wire nut. Drop in new ignitor - reinstall burner.

Removed the bottom drawer, oven racks, and the oven floor panel. With a #2 cross tip screw driver, I removed the old igniter, replaced it with the new one and tested the unit. When the new igniter began to glow I turned the unit off and reassembled the oven - JOB DONE less than 15 minutes.
