What I had to do was open the slot for the burner pan more as it would not fit properly in. So we snip the burner pan a little and now it fits great.

unscrewed it unhooked the wires and replaced with new part

Remove the oven racks, remove the two retaining screws, unplugged the wires. Install wires on new bake element, insert element into opening, install & tighten retaining screws, replace oven rack's & there you have it.

First - really check that the part you order will fit. Our oven is 30 years old and the first part we ordered was not correct, but it came the very next day after we ordered it which is amazing. We were more careful about measuring for the second one and it came almost as quickly. It only took a few seconds to unscrew the old element and then reattach the wires to the new one and screw it back into the oven. Very simple. I highly recommend PartSelect.

I installed the chrome drip bowl and plugged in the burner to make sure that it worked. Voila!! everything is now perfect and i have a happy renter. thank you so much for your fast delivery.

shut power off to range, took 2 screws out, took 2 snap on clips off old element. put snap on clips on new element, put 2 screws back in, and turned breaker on.

Using a wrench, removed old element and simply installed new one - took less than 10 minutes and the oven was working again! Best part was how quickly the item reached us - ordered it on a Wednesday afternoon and had it by Friday afternoon, with no expedited shipping - Great Service!

First I unplugged the stove. I then removed the two screws that held the element in place. I then pulled the element out about four inches to expose the connection. I disconnected the two wires, removed the element and replaced it with the new one. I then reassembled the oven in reverse order. It was very simple.

I took out the two racks from inside the oven. I then took my cordless screw driver and unscrewed the two hex bolts from the back of the oven , where the element goes through the other side. Next I went to the back of the outside of the oven and unscrewed the two hex bolts that hold the gray guard on(It covers the wires). I unplugged the red and the yellow (might have been a white wire since it was dark back there). wires that connect to the element. I went to the front of the stove and took out the bad element. I took the new one and inserted it into the two holes from the old element. Plugged the red and yellow wires back up and replaced the guard. Lastly I screwed the element to the rear of the oven with the two hex bolts I used before.

Took out the hexagon screws, used pliers to pull the connecting ends apart, slid in the new element in to the connecting slots, reattached to screws, turned on the oven to see if it would heat up and it did. It was really easy. I had waited for a week to get the part from my local Sears parts house. You sent it out and I had it in 3 days. They still don't have the part. Thanks so much.

Turned off circuit breaker for Range. Removed the 2 screws holding element and pulled wires attached to the element through holes. Disconnected the wires and attached new element. Had problem with one wire springing back into hole used paper clip to fish it back out of hole and then connected 2nd wire to heating element. Turned breaker back on and tested. Baked a cake. MMMMMMMM.

Removed the two screws pulled out the old element and slid the new element in and put the screws back in. I used it that night to bake supper

Removed two scres that hold element in Place. Pulled out element about 3" and removed wire disconnect. Re-connected new element and re-installed mounting screws. Very easy. First I removed the two screws holding the element to the back of the oven. When I pulled the element out I disconnected the two wires and removed the element. I found the serial / part number on the existing part and order from PartSelect. The element arrived two days sooner than expected!! Replacing the element was a bit more difficult in that I had to pull the stove away from the wall and remove the rear cover in order to pull the wires and element through the insulation in the back of the oven. Four screws held the rear cover, but once those were removed the element easily went into place and the repair was finished. Cleaning behind and under the stove took a few extra minutes but the entire repair only took about 30 minutes, plus the wait time for the part. Two tips, pliers were used to disconnect and reconnect the slip-on connectors. The connectors were pretty tight and reaching to the rear of the oven was difficult to get leverage to pull apart and reconnect. Also, the oven light caused considerable glare on my glasses so I taped the door button controlling the oven light and used a flashlight to see inside. Otherwise, a simple repair. PartSelect had the best price on the element and service and delivery were excellent!
