Replaced broken element with new one, part was delivering quickly and work great

Turn power off, then removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires, connected new element, put screws back in and test.

First I removed the two screws, then I pulled old element out, placed the new element in. Returned the screws in place. Very easy, cheaper to get online than anywhere else and was faster to get the part than anywhere else.

unplugged oven unscrewed old element replaced with new one plugged in oven it only took 2 days to get new element saved time and gas

Removed the retaining plate screws (Phillips), pulled out the element enough to disconnect the wires, disconnected the wires. Installation was the reverse.

btw, PartSelect shipping was phenomenally fast. I ordered this part on Saturday and it was at my door at noon on Tuesday!! Holy Moly...

I ordered part from Part Select, which literally arrived in 2 days. I unscrewed the two (2) screws holding the old bake element in the oven. Pulled out the element and detached the wires connected to the element, which was easily done without any tools. Attached those wires (again easily by hand with no tools) to the new bake element and screwed the two (2) screws back in. The whole process including ordering the part online, unpacking the box and installing took 15 minutes. Wonderful and in time for my wife and daughter to bake Christmas cookies!

i received the part via fed-x i opened the box uninstalled the old part installed the new part turned it on the element got red hot and it works just fine.

I order the part on 7/29 and much to my surprise, it arrived the very next day. It took less than 15 minutes to remove the old element and installed the new one. It was a little difficult to unplug the old one and took quite a bit of pulling but it came out okay. Plugging in the new one and screwing on the cover plate was easy.

My husband took the plastic cover off and took out old bulb and screwed in the new one. Then put the cover back on.

1. Unscrewed glass cover on bulb
2. Removed old bulb
3. Screwed in new bulb
4. Replaced glass cover
5. Mixed drink & baked cupcakes

I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires from the old element, then I connected the two wires to the new oven heating element. Pushed the unit back in place and reinstalled the two screws that hold it in place.( ALL Done)

Because I removed the oven door per the instructions given on this site and laid it on the counter it was easy to take apart down to the piece of glass that was cracked. All 3 pieces of glass are the same size. It was a good opportunity to clean the glass at the same time. I would say looking back at the number of things I have repaired in my lifetime that this was a piece of cake.

The information provided us through other customers really helped us. My husband is NOT a handyman and does not like to do these type of jobs. However he decided to attempt it. He likes step by step instructions from the company, however following other customers advice worked great. We where real pleased with how quick we received the replacement glass.
