temperature probe insulation broken down so short circuit
As the probe is a plug-in item that would normally be out of the oven, there was nothing more to the repair than checking that the new probe plug fitted the socket and that it was detected by the oven. Then the old probe was consigned to the trash.
Everything checked out, and the probe was used satisfactorily within a couple of days.

The Old Hinges broke off and the door would not stay closed
I removed the single screw on each side of the oven by the hinge to remove the hinge cover plate and expose the hinge opening. I lifted off the glass oven door up and out and set it on my work bench. The door is heavy because its glass so make sure the doors on the way to the garage are open to your work bench area. I installed the cover plates back on so i would not loose the little covers and screws. I removed the screws all around the door and set them in a cup and lifted up the inner part of the door and the hinges are exposed. After removing the screws that hold on the hinges it lifted right out. I cleaned all the glass and set the new hinges in and locked them down with the screws and installed back the inner part of the door to the outer part and returned all the screws back. I then removed they screws on the hinge covers. I did not loose them with 4 kids running around and lifted the door back into the hinge openings and pushed down and it locked in. I then put a little pressure down on the door and removed the little locking pins. I pushed the door all the down and installed the hinge covers back on and it works beautiful. I think the new hinges are better than the set that came with the Jenn-Air wall oven. Thanks Parts Select. Also the new hinges came in 3 days as promised.

Oven wouldn't heat
Easy as pie to do this repair. You first remove the 2 screws holding the element in. Then you carefully pull out the element and remove the wire clips at the ends. Just reverse the process with the new part.
By the way, I ordered my part from parts select on a Friday afternoon and it was on my doorstep Saturday morning..... and this was with regular delivery!
I would buy again in a heartbeat from parts select.

The oven rotary switch went 'POFF' when my wife turned the oven off.
First I verified that the breaker was OFF!
We have a build-in Jenn-Air oven. After finding the four screws that held the oven into the enclosure, sliding the oven out was pretty easy since my wife helped me. We used a nut drive to remove the 18+ screws holding the top on the oven.
Using the Internet we entered the switch part number. The number on the switch did NOT help finding the switch. We used the model number and with the exploded drawing on the PartSelect.com web site it was fairly easy to identify the switch.
I ordered the switch and specified two day delivery. This was on a Saturday. The switch arrived on Tuesday.
We had to remove the front glass plate to get to the screws holding the switch. I drew a diagram of the switch with the wire colors/numbers. I left the wires on the old switch. I removed the old switch with the wires still attached then installed the new switch. I moved the wires one by one. Then I verified the correct connections based on my drawing.
We re-installed the 18+ screws and slid the oven back into place. Turn on the breaker and baked a pie.

Replace the Oven Door Glass Panel
Opened the oven door and locked the spring hinges in the opened position with two 10p nails. Removed the oven door. I dismantled the component parts of the door. I then removed and replaced the broken glass unit, reassembled the door, slid the door onto the hinges, tightened two screws to lock the door in place, removed the 10p nails, closed the door----- and that was it. Less than one hour. The job was accomplished using only a Phillips screwdriver.

Interior window dirty (sealed unit; unable to clean)
Using exploded view and previous customers' comments, I disassembled the door. It was primarily a matter of finding all the screws. I recommend taking the door off first (I didn't), but watch your fingers. The hinges have very, very strong springs and you can hurt your or your helper's fingers if you're not prepared. The hardest part was keeping all the insulation in place while your're installing the assembly. I also replaced the gasket. That takes four hands, two to hold the gasket in place and two to reinstall the window assembly. To put the door back on the hinges, I pulled them out from the door at a 45-degree angle (takes some effort), put screwdrivers through holes in the hinges, and guided (with help) the door back on.

The job is pretty easy,4 screws pull ot coil, pull out of back of oven to remove the connections, the only problem that I had was the connecters on the new coil was not the right angle, fixed this by bending the connecters very carefully than a piece of cake.

the hinge sring broke on one side of the oven door
Remove the screws from bottom of door to gain access to the hinge screws. Remove the bottom hinge screws and then open the door to gain access to the top hinge screws. CAUTION after removing the top screws close the door as far as possible while still griping the sides of the door. Pull up on the sides to remove the door from the stove. The springs are fully loaded if you have the door open all the way and try to lift up (like I did) the hinge will spring back and get your finger. Install the new hinge, put the door back into the oven, install all the screws and then remove the temporary rivet that comes installed in the new hinge.

Light bulb and socket became one when trying to remove a burned out bulb. Ruined the socket.
Move stove out from wall. Unplug from power. Removed four screws from the left side of the back (the side the light socket is on. Reach in and unplug the two wires on the back of the bulb socket assembly. Inside the oven, remove the bulb cover and the two screws holding the socket assembly. Remove assembly. Install bulb in new assembly, reattach the assembly to the oven back, reinstall the bulb cover. On the back of the stove, replug the two wires and replace the screws on the stove's back cover. Replug the unit to power and move back into position.
Sounds harder than it is. The worst part is reaching inside the oven to get at those bits.

The lower heating element stopped working.
The heating element is held in place by two phillips screws which were rusted fairly tight, visible at the back of the oven. I tapped my screwdriver with a hammer as I loosened them. (I would have used liquid wrench if the hammer did not work) Two wires are fastened to the element by two clips that you can slide off by hand. Slip the wires off the old element and onto the new element and install the two screws and you are done.
