burned oven bulb
The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new light bulb in was not the problem.

Bake element burned out.
Turned off the breaker to the stove. Removed the screws holding the old parts in and unplugged the element. After reshaping the element because it got damaged in shipping I plugged the wires to the new element, replaced the screws and turned the breaker back on. Tried the stove and it has worked fine since.

The bake element sparked then burned up
This is the second time I have replaced the bake element. It looks like 8 years is about as long as they last under normal use. The repair was simple; remove 2 screws, pull the bake element out, disconnect the wire connected to each end of the bake element, then reverse the process to reinstall.

baking element quit heating
first I took the opportunity to clean the oven really well, Turned off the electricity at the breaker box, Took out the screw on each side and pulled out to view the clips they were attached to, they came off easily, I attached the new ones pushed in to place and reattached the 2 screws. Easiest thing I've ever done and was so cost effective to do this instead of replacing the stove. Works great!I can't believe it was shipped so quickly. I will be shopping here in the future!!!

Heat element on the bottom caught on fire, burned out, had to replace
The previous repair stories were extremely helpful! The most difficult part was unhooking the old element and I assume some of that was contributed by it's age. Installing was a piece of cake!

Remove burned out element & replace.
I watched the video intructing the installation of the bake element. The one thing I would suggest is to remove the oven door as this allows someone with a shorter reach to do the repair.

Burned out baking element
Removed old coil by unscrewing the element and unplugging it from the wires, adjusted the terminal slightly and plugged in the wire from the new element.

It was a very simple process and would have taken me less time if I wasn't so old and couldn't bend easily!

Oven element was burned out.
First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires attached to the element, reattached to new element and replaced screws. This was very easy, I was glad I did not call the repairman.
