The range kept giving an F2 alarm
When I got the part I removed the tin cover (two screws)on the back of the range. I removed the sensor by removing the two screws inside the oven and pulled out the sensor. taking the instructions advise, I checked the sensor with my ohm meter and although it read 1.1 ohms as compared with the recommended 1.09 ohms at room temperature in the instructions, went ahead and changed the unit. The connector did not fit my particular model so I spliced the wiring and using the two included wire nuts made the connection. I reinstalled the sensor, reattached the gas line, plugged it in and tried the oven before I put it back in place. The oven works great now and it was super easy.

Burner was unreliable...would stop working...I had already replaced the burner
I did as the video suggested.....I cut the old wires and spliced new ones already attached to the new terminal block. It would have been nice to have some instructions with the parts as I expected one piece but had to connect the wires to the new block and the new metal cover. I was guessing a bit. Also, I needed to use the holder strip off my old part so that it displaced the new part back far enough to insert the burner connections. That meant finding a screw and nut small enough to allow the metal cover to fit on the block. But the burner works great. I've learned that any repair requires some ingenuity.

the wires were not long enough to use the original path.
the original path was from the right front control knob around the back of the range and left side of range, which i dismantaled to install the new wires to the right front burner. When I found them to be to short I had to also dismantal the right side so the wires could be routed there. The new wires worked fine but did take some extra time.

R had ight front control made loud noise when contacts opened.
This is twin oven range with controls at side of upper oven. Control panel was fastened with screws at top and bottom. Range has built-in hood at top which had to be disassembled to reach top screw. Once had access to top screw, eaisly removed control panel and replaced control. New control had identical connections as old control so only had to install it, break shaft to correct length, and use proper shaft adapter for knob. Remounted control panel and range worked perfectly. This would have been a very quick job except for having to deal with the built-in range hood.

Hinge on oven door had a broken pulley.
Very easy job. Removed the 3 screws from the oven body, and slid the hinge out of the door. Slid in the new hinge, replaced the screws, and it was done. Very easy, wish I had done it sooner. Finding the part was easy, using the parts diagram. Rep was nice and confirmed the right part. Shipping was fast, and price was reasonable.

element sparking and popping and quit working
First thing I did was turned off breaker to stove. Then I opened oven door to broil position, pulled the door up at that angle and slid off hinges to make it more accessible to work on. Push door hinges to the closed position for safety purposes(reverse this procedure to install door back later). I then unscrewed the two screws that secure the element to the back wall. At this point I detached support clips and used the element to very carefully pull the wires into the oven. I then used my needle nose pliers to hold each of the spade connectors on the wires and pulled the element from the connectors making sure wires don't fall back into the holes. I replaced support clips and carefully slid element back into position and secured it back to the back wall using the two screws, then attached element to the new support clips. I installed the door back, flipped breaker back on and now my oven has a new broiler element in less than 15 minutes. Thanks PartSelect for the speedy delivery and great price.

Oven door difficult to open, would only open 4-5 inches
Followed the video step by step, made the job simple and easy. Did not know there were springs attached to the lower part of hinge till watching video. Parts were genuine GE manufacturer parts which fit perfectly. Very helpful staff and great customer service. My model number did not match perfectly with others listed but the hinge part is identical.
