Pull plug and shut off gas! The lower oven burner is held in with two rear and one front screws. I removed the top floor of the oven (two hand tightened screws at the back), the bottom drawer, and the front door (just lift it off the hinges). This allowed me to access the burner, and I removed it by unscrewing the three screws, unhitching the igniter connector, and lifting the burner and igniter up and out. I connected the new igniter on the new burner before installing it in the oven, and found that the connector did not match (I was warned about this possibility on the PartSelect site), but instead of splicing the wires together, I cut off the connector on the new igniter and replaced it with the connector of the old igniter. Then I screwed the burner into the oven, recoupled the connector, replaced the floor, drawer, and door, and I was done! It took about 45 minutes.

first i removed the screws that held the element and put the other one on. still would not heat . so i took the back of stove ,sides of stove loose to trace wires and under the top of stove i found a wire that comes from oven switch had been bitten into by a mouse wire nutted and electrical taped the wire back togeather and it workes fine . keep in mind there are 3 thinge that could be wrong. it goes from the switch, to the gas valve in broialer to the igniter switch,gas,fire .

I removed the whole burner (3 screws) and the igniter (2 screws). IGNITER comes from Mfg. boxed with wrong plug on igniter - however they supply two porclean nuts so that the wires can be cut and joined. I recommend that you use the plug off the old igniter and splice it to the new part, so that it will plug into the stove's existing plug

Unplugged the appliance for safety. Removed two 1/4" screws that held the assembly in place. Carefully removed the wire guard that retains the glass shield. Unscrewed old light bulb and replaced with new part. Reversed the steps after cleaning glass cover.

First I removed the oven door handle from the inside by removing the 2 screws. The screws have standard hex heads. You need to be careful you don't strip them. Once you remove the 2 screws for the handle the outside frame for the door will come away from the oven. You then need to remove the frame by unscrewing 2 screws at both the bottom left and bottom right corners of the door. Once you remove these, the exterior door frame will come away from the oven. The replacement glass actually sits on the outside of the frame. You simple need to slide it up into the top edge of frame. There are little grooves that hold it at the top. Once you have it in place, slide the bottom edge of the glass into the grooves on the bottom of the front door. Replace the 2 screws at the bottom right and left corner and then tighten the screws for the handle on the inside of the oven door and you're done. Pretty simple really.

Repair was quite easy. Remove four screws and lay back sheet metal panel. Transfer wires from one module to the other and then put new module in place. replaced the sheetmetal panel. Spark now presen at all burners. One small thing worth mentioning. Each burner has a gas distrubution cap and that cap has a small hole to the spark cavity. One of these was pluged with grease and that kept the burner from lighting until this hole was cleared.

the flame spreader through the years, developed a hole above the glow coil causing the above trapped gas between the oven pan and spreader to ignite. by replacing the flame spreader the problem is gone and is now working properly. thank you, parts select for being there when i needed the part and also being reasonably priced. mike marino

It all began one find night baking and suddenly the oven would not light up. And so for the next few years all I ever used the stove for was for stove top cooking, See Im a single guy so its not in my nature to get to fancy when it comes to cooking home meals,but after a while the mood changes and you finally get up the motivation to fix whats wrong. The change over went easy,easier than I expected.And the part worked just fine. As far as ease of the order and receipt,couldnt have been better,I got the part within 48hrs and that is fast! Take out inside of oven.Igniter is held on with 2screws and electrical clip.take off old one and put on new one.

Thanksgiving was coming and I needed extra oven space. So I ordered an additional rack. Installation ... just put it in the oven. My part came the day after I ordered it.

Disconnect power. Remove oven door, oven racks, bottom pan, drawer below the oven. unsnap igniter wire connector. Remove two screws holding the igniter in place, remove igniter.

Install igniter (placing igniter wires away from any heat producing parts) and all parts in reverse order as they were removed.

Oven heats good now, makes great cornbread and biscuits, the wife helps the oven do this.

While I was waiting on another part to arrive, I decided it would be a good time to do a thorough cleaning. When I lifted the top of the range, I lifted it to far and cracked both front burner tubes. The top of the range should not be lifted more than 4 inches without removing the 3 screws that hold each burner in place. When the new lines came in, I removed both front burners, knobs, and then removed the front plate behind the knobs using a Phillips screwdriver. The screws are located on the bottom of the plate. Using my adjustable wrench I replaced the lines. Then I CAREFULLY bent the gas tubes and remounted the burners. Over all an easy install. Just be careful, the gas tubes are aluminum and will break very easy. This is the second time I used PartSelect, and I am very satisfied.

removed two screws and took out bottom tray and put the new one in and replaced the screws.DId it my self.

I followed the "Test Procedures" on your site { VOM to test the Temperature Sensor and observed the intensity of the Igniter } and found both items were not at specs. Although your video did not depict my model oven exactly, it showed me enough details on how to get to and change out the parts. IE: The connector plug for the Flat Style Oven Igniter had to be accessed through the Warning Draw and not the Oven as shown in the video. A minor issue.
I found your test and safety procedures, how to video's and ease of ordering the required parts fantastic. Most importantly the parts arrived in one day and a half. A very satisfying experience, Thank you
