I needed to replace the 6" surface unit.

My GE range is 20 years old, and still going strong. All I needed was to replace the 6" surface unit. After making slight adjustments, it was just a matter of placing the new unit. I could not find a dealer who could tell me what part I needed because the model was discontinued

I just went to your web page and indicated I needed an 8' surface element and up popped a picture; I ordered it and plugged it in and it works perfectly. I didn't need a model number, or a part number. Three cheers for a simple solution and a 1st class web page!

Replaced my drip pans

The new drip pans are great. I had purchased generic ones locally that were supposed to be universal. The problem was that they did not fit right and the burner coils did not sit flat. The new drip pans fit well and look great too.

replaced pans- what I would like to comment on is the time- I ordered one day at noon and had them the next day at noon- I live in tiny town on northern border of USA- it was awesome- I couldn't believe it was them- 24 hours- super job and excellent price too

Unplug heating elements and pick up drip bowels and reinstall elements.

Right Front [surface burner terminal block kit]

surface element not working

I simply pulled the old surface burner out, and plugged the new one in. It took less than one minute! The amazing part of this repair, is actually that PartSelect sent the replacement surface element burner OVERNIGHT! I could not believe it, and was VERY impressed with their commitment to help their customers in time of crisis. It arrived just on time for my Thanksgiving not to become a nightmare. uneven heating of oven

This repair was super easy. I removed the two screws holding the oven sensor in place, pulled the sensor from the oven wall to expose the two wires attached to the sensor cut and spliced in the new sensor as per instructions. The supplied wiring kit made this splice very easy. I then reinserted the wires and sensor from the oven wall, put the screws back in place tested the oven. Oven now works like new and I got bonus points from a happy wife!
