switchlight on my refrigerator was not working
I found instructions on the web about how to do this repair, so I ordered the part with confidence. But the instructions simply said "pull out the old switchlight". That was actually somewhat difficult as the clip on the side intended to hold the part in was stubborn. I eventually used a utility to slice off the clip. From that point, it was just a matter of plugging in the new switchlight , which was very simple.

You shut the door washer would beep twice, and start button would flash.
First I locked out the power cord. I pulled the back screws to the top panel off, slid the top panel to the back of the washer, and pulled the top off. opened the washer door, and ran my down where the door switch was. with one hand on the switch, I use the other hand with a philips screw driver to remove the screws on the door switch. Pulled the switch up just enough to remove the electrical plug. Now installation will be the same but start backwards. Plug in the switch, run the switch into the housing. While holding the switch in place with one hand use the other hand to install the two screws. Replace the top panel, remove any lockouts.

Water and ice did not work when pressing on bar. Auto fill water would work.
Used a vidieofrom utube that described a similar situation.
https://youtu.be/VhVVK1pnupc
The only difference from this video was that my unit did not have the 2 screws that this video shows to remove.
I used the plastic knife to pry open the cover of the unit from that point everything internally was about the same.

utube video made this repair very easy! remove front lower cover, drain pump will be on the right, 2 screws hold pump in place (unscrew), remove hoses by using plyers to slap hoses off pump, remove old pump. replace with new one, screw back in, replace hose & claps. DONE!! i ran a rinse and drain cycle before replacing the front cover just to be sure there were no leaks.

both freezer and refigerator were warm.
I watched the video online and it said there were three sensors in the refrigerator, two in the freezer and one in the refrigerator. I only ordered one sensor and was going to try the one in the refrigerator first. He said the upper one in the freezer is the most difficult, but is usually the problem. So, I replaced the upper sensor and tried restarting the unit. Everything went well and it fixed the problem.
