Removed the rear panel from the Range using the nut driver. pulled the terminal wires off the back of the heating element. Double checked if there was continuity across the heating element terminals before removing the element. If there is none, its bad. remove the two screws inside the oven holding the element in place. Once free, lift the front of the element to about 30 degrees and pull towards you. Insert the new element in the reverse manner then secure it using the two screws. Push the terminal wires onto the terminals on the back of the element and reinstall the rear panel.

My son did it by using pliers. He took out the screws that held the element in and pulled it out and used the pliers to pull the wires out of the old one and snapped the new one in . put it back together. about 5 minutes.

opened oven door and removed two 1/4 " screws from range top. lifted range top and propped open like a car hood with a 1" diam dowel rod. marked on new element the wire color locations from old element and removed wires. removed the two small screws and clips that hold the element to the range top and removed element. Matched where the mounting screws locate to the new element. Installed new element in reverse order.

Becuase of the fire we had used a chemical based fire extinguisher, which made a real mess in the whole main floor of the house. I removed the oven from the house and used a leaf blower to get rid of all the white chemical powder (like a baking soda of sorts). Once that issue was done, I removed the part in less than 5 minutes. Two screws to remove it and then unpluged the two wire clips from the back of the stove under the shield which also had 6 screws to remove. It took only 3 days to have a new one delivered and I installed it in less than 5 minutes. The oven works fine now. It took much longer to clean the house than fix the oven.

This was a very simple procedure. I removed the 2 screws in the oven itself (holding the element in place), then pushed the element through the back of the oven so the wires were exposed, then slipped off the wires, the male end from the female end, I then removed the entire element. I put the new element in the over, re-attached the wires, put the screws back in place, replaced the cover, and the oven was as good as new.

Remove old stained gasket and replaced with new. Only $57.00!

0. As a safety precaution, unplug the range or hit the relevant fuse breaker before you start. You might also want to grab a flashlight. Definitely do not try to do this while the oven is hot.
1. Pinch the wire over the light bulb cap to remove it. This is inside the oven at the back.
2. Pop off the hemispherical glass cap.
3. Unscrew the old light bulb, and screw the new light bulb in its place.
4. Put the cap back.
5. Secure the cap by putting the wire back in its slots on the cap.

No tools needed, the cap is just held in place with pressure from the wire.

Ordered the part, it arrived and 5 minutes later it a complete installation

This one is simple. unscrew a portion of the door, install the spacer and screw back together. Worked well.

Opened the box removed old element with socket put new one in tightened and voila ?? Just in time for thanksgiving ??

First, disconnect electrical power to the stove by turning the main fuse to the off position. Confirm that there is no electrical power in the stove. The ceramic top is held by 10 screws that are closest to the ceramic surface. Other screws hold other parts of the stove and not need to be touched when opening the stove. Once the ceramic surface is off there is access to the burners and the various lights and switches. It is important to determine whether it is the burner that is defective or the switch. Inasmuch as the switch has many moving parts, the switch is more likely to be the defective part. Check the switch by gaining access to the switch connections. There is a metal frame held by two screws on each side in the outside of the stove (same area where the initial 10 screws were removed to separate the ceramic surface). Remove these screws and flip the switch assembly so all the wires and cables are accessible. I checked the switch with a continuity tester and by trial and error determined that there were two connections that in all the remainder three switches had continuity when the switch was in the on position while the suspect switch did not. Replaced the suspect switch by pulling the wires and replacing them in identical positions in the new switch (a smartphone camera became very useful to remind me were exactly each cable's connection was). Restore power by turning the fuse to the on position. Check that the burner lights up. If not, change the burner as well. Same simple procedure of disconnecting and connecting cables to the burner). Make sure to disconnect power before working on the burner. Replace the screws that hold the switch assembly. Replace the ceramic top. Replace the screws. Set stove back in its hole. Reset fuse. Total time: 35 mins. Total cost: Approx $25.00 (switch + delivery). Quoted repair by local appliance repair service: $487.50. No contest. Next project is to fix a leaky water dispenser in the refrigerator.

I turned the breaker off to the stove and moved it away from the wall. I then removed the center cover off the back of the stove and exposed the wires connected to the bake element. I removed the wires from the bake element and then opened the oven and removed the two bolts holding the element onto the back wall of the oven. I discarded the old element and replaced it with the new first bolting the new in , then connected the two wires and replaced the rear cover. Turned on the power and made a cake.

First unplug the unit from the outlet. Then remove the rear cover, covering the electrical wires. Disconnect the hot /ground wires from the element leads. Then open the oven door and use the nut driver to remove the inner screws to release the bake element. Insert new element and replace all screws and electrical leads. You're all done!

I removed the racks and oven door. I used a socket to remove the screws that secured the element. I pulled the element out to gain access to the wire connectors and used pliers to remove the wires from their connectors to the burned out element. I installed the new element by using the pliers to secure the wire connectors to the element and then installed the element with the socket thus securing the element with the screws.
