The hardest part was working in the oven.

Turn off power
Open Oven Door, remove racks
Remove two mounting screws with nut driver.
Slide the element out to expose the wire connections.
Remove the screws and pull the element out.
Place the new element in oven.
Clamp on to each of the terminals with vice grips to keep from bending the element and install the screws.
Slide the element back into place and put the two mounting screws back in.

Put the racks back in and turn on the power and test. You may get a little smoke off the new coil.

Like I said the hardest part is leaning into the oven to attach the screws, do not sit on the oven door.

Could not believe how fast the part shipped. 2 days and it was here. All it took was using a nut driver to remove 4 screws and then put the new one in.

My 17 year old son and I (his mom) replaced the oven element in less than 15 minutes!!! It was so easy. We first unplugged the stove since I didn't want to go and shut off the circuit breaker in the dark!! We then removed the two screws that hold the element in place and started to pulled out the element. It was actually corroding in my hands as I pulled it out. We disconnected the wires and then put in the new element by reconnecting the wires, pushing the connections back in and replacing the two screws that hold the element in. The oven heated right up!!! What a savings to do it yourself and not have a repairman charge us extra to do a 10 minute job!! Thank you Part Select for your fast service. I will definitely look here before I shop anywhere else. Four screws and two wires.

I received the kit two days after I ordered it, opened it and installed the knobs in less than 3 minites. The knobs were exact matches for the broken ones. The stove top now looks great and I cannot understand why I waited so long to make this simple repair.

With great ease. Only thing I would have appreciated was knowing the size ofvthevrequired socket wrench. Otherwise it was easy and fun as the instructions were crystal clear.

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Then I replaced it with the new element that took only two days to arrive and that was without paying extra express shipping fees. It couldn't have been easier. I didn't even wait for my husband to come home and install it. I had an oven-baked meal ready when he got home. I was very satisfied.

Turned the wire protector to the side. Turned out the old bulb and replaced it with the new. Turned the wire protector back in place and I'm like new.

every thing went just fine. A simple job at best.

What went better was the prompt service.

First I turned the power off to the oven at the breaker box. Then I removed the nuts holding the element to the rear wall of the oven and pulled it out a couple of inches. I saw that only 2 nuts held the element to the wires. I found the part on your site very easily and placed my order. The part was at my door 2 days later! I removed the old element, replaced the new element and turned the breakers back on. Repair complete!

First I turned off the power to the stove,removed oven racks,removed the two screws that held the element in place,pulled unit out a couple inches ,removed the two screws that held the wires in place ,removed element.
Placed new unit where old one went and placed wires in proper order and put together and placed back . turned power back on and WALAA......nothing......apparently that wasnt the problem....Husband baught me a new stove,after 35 years why not.

Turned off circuit. Unscrewed old element. Connected new element and screwed it in. Worked like a charm. It shipped very quickly. Could not be more satisfied; total repair: $30 and prevented me from buying a new oven; satisfaction: priceless.

My sons helped with that. They had to use a pliers to remove the old screws (did not have to notches). After that they they removed the element. Then the wires had to be disconnected (after we unplug the oven from the main power source. Then the wires were connected to the new heating unit. We only got one screw in so far will work on getting the second one in when they return tomorrow. I did turn on the oven and it works!!!
