rotating glass dish assembly making stange noise
The lady in the Nova Scotia call center should get all the credit for being able to identify the part I needed from only the very limited information I was able to give her. Employee of the month for her. She also had such a great can do attitude. Lawence Baier

Microwave was making a grinding sound
Problem was easily diagnosed using the internet as a resource, problem was a bad stirrer motor. Hardest part of the repair was the removal of the microwave. Once off the wall, you remove the outer cover and a molded plastic casing directly underneath the outer cover at the top of hte microwave to expose the stirrer motor. Removed two screws and two wires and the old motor is out. Did exactly the opposite to install the new motor. The kit I recvd included among other things the motor, a new inside cover, plastic rivets and even silicone to seal the inside cover. I am sure I saved a couple hundred dollars by doing myself.

Door handle cracked and front door panel cracked
After removing the three screws from the outside edge of the door , use a flat blade screwdriver and you fingers to pry the base of the front plastic panel off the door. The cover is held in place with molded in plastic clips . If you are just trying to swap the handle, I'd suggest you buy a new plastic door panel as it's tough to remove without risking it cracking (sorry it is quite expensive...but MUCH cheaper than a new appliance). Once removed, the glass outer window has to be removed by gently prying back the plastic clips that hold the internal bezel that hold it in place. You'll have to take the screws out of the old handle and re-use them . I backed up my screws with penny washers to spread the force applied to the plastic panel...probably the cause of the cracking in the first place. On reassembling (the reversed of taking it to bit) make sure the glass is clean on the inside (no fingerprints) before you snap everything back together. I gave it a "bit difficult" because if you don't act with finesse, you'll crack bits that you don't want to crack!

Microwave outer door panel was creacked
Others had suggested using a putty knife to "gently" remove the outer door panel. I found my narrow blade putty knife was not sturdy enough. After several attempts I finally switched to a wide blade putty knife and blade screwdriver. This did the trick. Outer door panel came away and after that it was relatively easy repair. I was really impressed by the wwll protected packaging used for shipping the new panel to me.

Microwave made a heavy buzzing sound and then stopped heating
Removed cover (lots of screws), Removed base, Removed inside covers to epose transformer, HV diode, capacitor and Magnetron. Removed HV transformer and labeled wires. Removed door switch. Removed Magnetron and replaced. Re-installed door switch and HV transformer. Connected wires and re-installed internal covers. Installed base and tested unit. Installed cover and re-installed Microwave. Has been running a week just fine. Take a lot of pictures with your phone during the whole process. This will help with getting things back exactly as factory.

Cracked front panel (i.e. frame) on microwave door.
Ordered the part on PartSelect on Sunday afternoon. The part arrived on Tuesday evening. I followed the instructions on the reviews on the PartSelect site. 1. I took out the three (3) screws on the right side of the damaged panel. 2. I placed the screws in a bowl so not to lose them. 3. I pried the damaged front panel off with butter knife (it was a little harder to get off than expected). 4. I cleaned the glass. 5. I replaced the glass in the mounts on the new front panel. 6. I snapped the front panel into place and reinserted the screws. Boom. Done. I threw away the damaged front panel. I don't think it was recyclable.
