Power cuts in and out; runs for a few secs then powers off
Disconnected power and removed Microwave housing cover, observed burned end plastic connector of wire connecting to the thermostat (or thermal overload sensor); slightly wiggle one of the 2 wires to the thermostat would cause microwave power to cut out (when plugged in power). When powered on, I would try to run it but power cuts out after just a few seconds. Removed the 2 wires from the old thermostat, removed the 2 screws that fasten down the thermostat, replaced with new thermostat and reapplied the 2 screws; cut off burned part of wire and resolder to new wire connector; reconnect both wires to new thermostat and reinstall MW housing cover. MW works good as new again. Thank you PartSelect!
