The repair went well just unplug electrical cord then lift the top front edge of dryer top there are two 1/4 inch screws on the front top two corners take them out with nut driver or screw driver also remove the two wires that are connected to the switch for the dryer door the front of the dryer can be removed and put aside then at the bottom right corner of the dryer you will find the housing of the blower fan you will need to remove the front cover of the housing then put the housing front aside then take pliers and remove the blower clamp and then the retaining clip after that pull blower fan off and replace it with the new blower fan and the put everything back together It is really easy thanks parts select you had the parts for me

replaced belt first didnt fix the noise so i replaced rear drum support roller kit and that fixed the noise this was a cheap fix cost me about 70.00 dollars verses a new dryer thank you your website was a big help

First, I replaced the male end which was just two screws and simple replacement of pushing the fastener into the door frame. When finished I noticed the female end was damaged as well. Glad the female part came as well. This required taken off the front trim around the door (four screws - 2 each side) and then the door. The installing of the female end was easy with a little push. The damaged female end was already hanging out so easy to grab and remove. Otherwise I would have had to remove the front panel. Note You need to put the door trim back on before reattaching the door.

What's the video you had on your website and did it the way you showed how to do it. The video was helpful just like you showed it.

Turn off power. Move dryer away from wall and release the top by lifting up to release the two clips. Lay top against the wall. Remove the two screws, one in each corner, left and right inside the cabinet. Lift front panel up and out away from dryer. Place along right side of dryer. You may need to unlatch the wiring for the door switch. Reach inside the bottom of dryer and release the belt. Lift the dryer drum out along with the belt. Observe the two guide rollers that the drum rides on. Using a blade screw driver release the clips that hold the rollers onto the spindles. Clean up around each spindle. Install new rollers in reverse order and put all back together. The hardest part is reinstalling the belt. Put belt around the drum, around the motor pulley and then onto the tension roller. First I unplugged the dryer and shut off the gas. I popped the top loose at the front and raised it up on its rear hinges. I removed the two retaining screws near the top of the front panel, unclipped the door switch and removed the front panel. I rotated the drum by hand to cause it to rattle and noticed the blower impeller was barely turning. I then removed the panel in front of the blower and found part of the shaft that clamps to the motor shaft had broken off. This explained why no heat was reaching the dryer drum and why the ratttle was so bad and continued for a few seconds after I turned the dryer off. I removed the clamp and the retaining clip and the blower impeller and replaced all three parts with new ones. This is the second appliance I have repaired in the past month and I cannot believe how quickly I received the parts from PartSelect.com. In both cases replacement parts arrived within one day of ordering them and the operator was very helpful and patient helping me order the correct parts. NOTE: The original impeller had a round hole and was held in place on a "D" shaped motor drive shaft by a clamp and retaining clip. The new impeller had a "D" shaped hole and was very dificult to install on the shaft. Before reassembling all the panels on the dryer, I made sure the impeller was on straight and turned freely without striking any panels. I also spent a considerable effort cleaning a huge amount of lint and dust out of the dryer. My dryer now works perfectly and quitely. It is nice to have it back.

i ordered a new filter and put in in the dryer to replace the broken one. everything worked out fine. and is working fine now.

I did a quick research online and found PartSelect to have the best price. I ordered my part on Monday 8/6 and to my tremendous surprise FedEx delivered it Tuesday 8/7!! I did not pay for overnight delivery. My son happened to come by that day and he took a small flathead screwdriver, pried the old one out and inserted the new part. Done in 5 minutes! PartSelect will be my supplier from now on.

noticed that male half was in good working order, so I just snapped in the new female half; without any tools. easy repair!

Replacing the lint filter was, of course, the easy part. The rest of the time was spent removing the front of the dryer and cleaning out all the lint that had escaped through the old broken filter. I completely took apart the lint traps inside the front, vacuumed everything out, and replaced the ductwork to the outside that was almost completely blocked with lint. Please take the time to inspect your dryer, and do this if necessary! I feel we prevented a house fire by getting to this in time - and I will be more vigilant in the future.
