Ratling noise and clothes not getting dry
The blower had lost its key and was not attached to the motor. To do the repair: Remove the front cover, remove the lint screen assembly, remove the front of the blower housing. Use snap ring pliers to remove the blower wheel and install the new one. Reassemble and your done.

Belt was squealing and there was a rumbling noise getting louder
Pulled the power plug,removed the front cover,disconnected the door switch ,then the drum cover then the drum giving me access to the drum rollers and the belt,replaced the rollers [applying grease the new ones] and belt as I reassembled the drum and drum cover,then the front cover went to the rear access cover ran the belt over the tensioner pulley abd motor,plugged the dryer power cord in and tested

very noisy when dryer running
First I removed the two screws on the front panel that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3" and disconnected the two wires. Find out the roller broken. Place an order with Partselect from friend recommendation. Fast delivery, replace the broken roller, reverse the process and test the sound of the dryer. Very satisfied with the parts. Thanks!

Making loud noise
Removed (2) screws at bottom of dryer. Removed about 5 screws on blower housing. Used pliers to remove clamp and replaced the blower. Installed everything in reverse. I looked at what others did before me and it made it easy.

dryer wouldn't tumble
removed the front panel, pulled out the drum, applied the new belt, reassembled, put in screws and voila.....the dryer worked.

tumbler did not turn
the right belt was easy to find on your website. It arrived in short order. The instructions were good and easy to follow and we were able to remove the front panel four screw and the tumbler was out. placed the belt on the tumbler replaced it and laced the belt on the motor. replaced the screws holding the tumbler then the front panel. about 30 mins and it was working again. Thanks :)

blower wheel assembly worn causing a noise at startup and sometimes while running
I removed the screws to the front panel which allowed access to the inside. There were four screws that held the drum in place. I removed the drum to have more working room. Once inside, I removed the screws, clamp and clips that held the blower wheel assembly in place. After removal, I replaced the old blower with the new one and installed the new belt. I reassembled everything and the dryer runs like a new one. Very easy job that saved me lots of money. Also, the diagrams on your site were very helpful.

Dryer door catch was broken
Was extrememly simple. Just unscrewed the two screws at the bottom front of the dryer and pulled the front of the drayer out. PUshed the broken catch out and snapped the new catch in place. Reattached the dryer front with the two screws and was done. Less than 15 minutes.

switch clip broke
Unscrewed front panel. Pulled off unbroken wire connecter and popped switch and put new one in. Replaced front panel.

Dryer not heat
Simple I had my husband do it. This dryer must be 30 plus years old, couldn't bear to part with the Maytag.

Very noisy and not drying properly
Took two screws out on the front and used snap ring pliers to remove clamp. Very easy job.

Dryer Was Very Noisy
First thing to do. . . . Unplug the machine. After that, remove the top 2 screws from the cover from between the washing machine and the dryer and remove cover. Then remove the 2 screws from the top of the front dryer cabinet, pull front cover out slightly and gently let it lay forward. From this point, you can look in and see the drum rollers. Behind the rollers on the roller shaft is a 1/2" nut. Use a 1/2" gearwrench to remove the nut, and pull the shaft with roller attached out forward. Use snap ring pliers to remove snap ring, take off old roller with bushings, and replace with new. To re-install shaft with new roller, you will have to lift the drum slightly to give yourself enough room. Re-assemble the front of machine (note: be careful of the wiring on the control panel, as some connectors may have pulled loose. Make sure they are all connected before replacing front of machine). Plug machine in and test it out. While you have the machine open, use a good vacuum cleaner and remove the lint that you will find inside the machine. Depending on how old the machine is, you should find quite a bit.

squeaking noises while running
Removed the door then removed front panel then removed 8 screws that held the drum in. At this point reached in and removed the snap ring on the wheels and replaced the washers and wheels. Then reassembled it.
