Dryer door wouldn't shut
The door catch kit is soo easy. They give you instructions on which one to use depending on your dryer and it fit perfectly into the door. This was great especially since it was so inexpensive! My husband thought we would have to replace the door.

Received part in 3 days from ordering. I was surprised when it showed up at my front door so quickly. Less than 1/2 hour later we were drying laundry again. Very impressed with the speed of service and the price.
First removed 2 screws on lint remover vent. Used a screw driver to force up top of dryer from out front. These will require pressure to pop the top off the dryer. Once the top was up I could reach the actuator and remove the 2 screws holding it. Once removed just replaced with new actuator and bam, done. Snapped top of dryer back on and reinstalled 2 screws on lint vent and Done. Easy, no problem....Thank you PartSelect!!.

Door wouldn't fasten shut
Popped the latch out and popped a new one in.
The real story here is that there was an ANSWER and a SOLUTION, to what was a GREAT
annoyance. If I wouldn't have found a part, I may have run off and bought a new dryer, when I really didn't need to, or paid A LOT of money for a repair man to come out. THANK YOU for your service. You made my life easier.

Replace motor in dryer
Repair went well your video was a great help. The motor was hard to disconnect from the blower and fan side. The shaft that you hold with the adjustable plier was hard plastic type of material and wanted to keep slipping and the edges wanted to round off and not hold in the adjustable pliers. I had to use a small pipe wrench with teeth to break it loose. The only other problem was the ground screw in the new motor had an odd type of head on it and took a special type of nutdriver attachment to loosen it and attach the ground wire to the new motor.

Dryer would not start, only making a humming noise
I checked the motor to make sure it turned freely but it didn't so I knew it was bad, your online instructions made it so easy for me to make the motor replacement, if I ever need any appliance parts ever again .....you can bet I'm buying them from you. I purchased the motor for about 40% less then what it was retailed locally.

The latch on my dryer door wasn't working. I was having to shove a towel in the door to get it to stay shut until I was able to repair it.
All I had to do was get the model number off of the dryer and plug that information in online and within a couple of days the part arrived. It was great! There were directions that came with the part that explained how to replace the old latch with the new one.
I remember in the "olden days" when I would of had to call a repair guy out and paid a lot more than the $12.00 I did to replace the part myself. And, the only reason it was $12.00 dollars instead of $5-6 was because I had it shipped overnight.
Awesome!
