Kit was easy to install and after making sure the drum gaskets were set right the noises ended.

Remove lower bottom cover (two screws on bottom) with screw driver. Remove old radiant flame sensor from left side of tube with ignior by using socket wretch. Remove wires with needle nose pliers. Put new part in: put wires back on, insert part's lower tab into the tube ( there is a small slot) use socket wrench to tighten screw at top. Put bottom front panel back on and screw back in.

Found a DIY video clip on YouTube...Ordered the parts...I only needed a replacement belt but PartSelect had an upgrade kit that included not only the belt and rear drum support wheels, but also the tensioner arm with a WHEEL instead of just the flat metal belt guide ( which I believe lead to the belt wearing out in the first place) All the parts fit perfectly and now it's better than new.

I watched the video online in the order section. then just did it after we received the repair kit.

After getting on-line to your site we looked up what the problem could be after receiving the dryer from a friend to transfer from electric to gas to save money. First we thought it to be the ignitor and after receiving it so quickly it still didn't work so went to your site again and found the Flame sensor. They were both defective and now it works wonderful!!! Your site also explains what and how to repair the appliance, which my husband appreciated! I needed to replace our drum support rollers - one was completely worn out and wobbling (the buffalo herd noise) the other wasn't too bad, but for an older dryer(15+ years) I figured it was time to replace both wheels. I ordered the maintenance kit that also included the Idler Pulley and drum belt. I spent most of my time with the vacuum since there was a lot of dust accumulated inside the dryer. (I recoverd $1.83 in coins!) The instructions that came with the kit were very helpful for this repair. Plus, there were some online videos that heled as well. Once I had everything apart I noticed the plastic bearing ring on the drum's front was nearly worn out so I quickly ordered this from PartSelect and it arrived quicly in two days - this took only 10 minutes to replace.

Belt was worn, rollers were sticking, idler worn out. Ordered a kit to care for these issues, as usual the reapirs took almost no time. Dryer became a bit quieter for a first load, second load the motor siezed. I priced rebuilding most of the machine and determined replacement was due.

Took the back dryer cover off and removed the lint cover all from the back of the dryer then replaces the Thermistor (held with 2 screws).

Used a ropeasround the dyer drum to simulate thebelt to peload the idler This allowed me to get the belt over the motor shaft without the idler sping tenion causing the idler to jump at random timesafer I strted using the rope the belt was on in 10 minutes.

Poped the top; removed the front of dryer; removed the drum; replaced the rollers and clips, new belt, and new idler pulley. Cleaned out all the lint. Reinstalled all. It works perfect. Ordering the parts was easy and the assistance you give in diagnosing the problem was excellent.

Ordered a parts kit with belt, tensioner, rollers, & clips, but did not use. Unfortunately, the kit was not correct for this model, regardless of the sales reps assurances. The kit had two rollers, our unit has four. The belt tensioner was not even close to being the same. However, a thorough cleaning of the interior with vacuum and rag was done. Removed, cleaned, and lubed each of the four rollers and the tensioner wheel as well. Lubed with small amounts of sewing machine oil on the axles and light spray of silicone on plastic to plastic contact points. Voila! It's as quiet as new.

Follow the instructions contained in the kit along with the excellent referenced how to video on YouTube. Will certainly go to PartSelect for all my future appliance repairs.

Ok, there was a couple of other parts not on the video but were not hard to deal with. I would suggest talking a photo of the assembled parts before taking parts of for a reference when reassembling.
