the dryer was making very loud noises when tumbeling
Watching the video from Parts Select for replacing the rollers showed us all we needed to easily replace the wheels as well as the Pulley and belt. It made a gigantic different in the noise and efficiency of the dryer. One of the Wheels was actually 3/4 gone, worn away. Hopefully, this repair will extend the life of an already old dryer. Thanks for the videos that made the repair a 'piece of cake'.

Our dryer would not ignite, so I figured it was the radiant flame sensor. Well, I out that in and still nothing. I found out that the Tube Burner was also burned off on the flame end, by the igniter. I also ordered that part. installed it, and it works beautifully.
On the Amana dryer, I had to remove the top panel. then the front panel to access the burner assembly. I also had to remove the gas pipe coming to the burner, because I replaced the tube burner assembly at the same time. There is only one screw that holds that back end of that gas pipe. The thermal flame sensor is on the left side of the burning chamber, with only one small Phillips head screw. just remove the 2 wires, keeping track of which terminal they belong. Just twist the sensor out of the small slot, and out it comes. The tube burner assembly is fastened with 2 screws. The entire burner assembly comes out in one piece, but be real careful not to bang the igniter when removing it. The coil assembly has 2 wires, which you cannot get wrong, because one has 2 prongs, the other has 3 wires. The local repair shop wanted 90 bucks per hour, plus parts, and I installed both the burner tube and radiant flame sensor for around $80.

Drum does not rotate
Diagnose the problem. Is it the motor ? Is it the belt ? Order the correct repair kit, use name brand parts to ensure reliability. READ THE SUPPLIED DIRECTIONS. You can use a small wood shim or wedge at the top front corners to open the top . Use a 5/16" socket to remove the 2 screws at the top outside corners. Lift the front panel straight up, supporting the drum as you lift it off. Remove the drum, taking it straight out the front. Install the new drum rollers, install the idler, and then the belt around the drum. Install the drum on the rear rollers, make sure the seal is not folded under. Push the drum back against the seal flange, support the front of the drum with your right (or left ) hand, and sit the front panel on the lower pins, and gently push the front panel to the sidewalls. Feed the belt through the idler and around the motor pulley. This job is easily performed in about 20 minutes. Clean the interior while replacing the belt/idler and drum rollers. With the top lifted, after assembly, test run the dryer to make sure there are no "funny noises" after the repair. Watch especially for the white rub strips on the front edge of the drum. They tend to fold over when attaching the front panel. Job done !

Very loud
Had to order idler lever and wheel as the one in the kit would not work. Best to buy part specific for your dryer. Repair was easy, just watch repair video. Sounds like new dryer again

Dryer will not get hot
Replaced the flame sensor since it was believed to be the problem contributing to the lack of flame in this gas dryer. However, this part did not correct the problem.

Dryer would heat up for a short time, then shut off
First I replace the Radiant Flame Sensor, but the problem remain. Then replace the two coils and the igniter. Dryer works like it should. If I were to do it over, I would have replaced all 4 components to start with. Thanks for good advice and great service.

dryer quit before clothes were dry except on the extra low setting. I got an E1 error reading
flipped THE BREAKER (very important!). Removed the cover on the bottom of the dryer (2 screws), made easier because dryer is stacked on top of washer. Removed the heater box (3 screws). Thermistor located on top of the blower housing (right side). removed old thermistor (2 screws) and unplugged the wires. Plugged the wires into new thermistor, installed the thermistor, replaced the heater box, then tested the dryer. It seemed to work fine. Replaced the cover. It has worked fine ever since.
