Selector knob broke off
I ordered a selector knob and it was delivered in a short amount of time. I wasn't sure if it was the right one when I ordered it, but my husband just put it right on the dryer. He said it was perfect. Thank you PartSelect!

Broken knob
Took off old knob...put on new one.
No problem!

No flame. Igniter came on but no gas.
Opened up dryer for access to all components and tested. All checked good. Put back together and tested and igniter came on but no flame. Purchased two new coils and tested again. No flame. Purchased complete valve assembly and replaced old one. Tested again and viola, success! TY PartSelect for exact replacement part.

Wouldn't Start
Followed the directions in the video. The only problem was there was no mention of needing a star bit set in addition to a Philips screwdriver in order to get the back splash detached from the dryer. This is probably because the machine was 11 years old. It would have been more helpful to have a note that machines prior to a certain age would need that tool. Otherwise it was a easy job even for a 75 year old grandmother.

Dryer turns on as soon as door is closed.
Gently pull off all knobs and put aside. Remove the panel screws using the star bit. Tip panel forward. Remove three wires from old switch and put them on same terminals on new switch. Use the screwdriver to gently pull up the old switch's locking arm from the slot in the front panel and rotate the old switch until it pops out of the front panel. Insert the new switch into the panel and rotate until the locking arm clicks into place. Replace front panel making sure no wires are pinched. Re-install the front panel screws and control knobs.

Timer was wore completely out won't move at all
Took 4 screws out of the top control panel flipped it over got the new timer put the wires off the old timer on the new twisted the old one off twisted the new one on put control panel back on screws back in turned power back on perfect like new

Broken Start knob
After finding a matching knob for the broken one on my dryer, I ordered it from this website and within days had my dryer working like new again. Just slipped it on and that was it. No more using pliers to start the dryer. Couldn't have been easier.

The timer knob
It just slipped on. But, the ease in ordering this part was amazing. I am not mechanically inclined at all. I use repair people for mostly everytning, but, $50 to just look at it was too much!! Then I decided to look online and it was the right choice. I will use and/or suggest PartSelect ;-)

timer knob was cracked and did not turn the timer
replaced the old knob. No tools required. Less than 1 second.

on /off switch would not work
remove 3 screws from back of top panel unplug wires from back of switch and twist out switch and replace same reassemble panel and plug it back in
