Replace black access panel on Whirlpool dishwasher (model WDF520PADM7)
I needed to replace the black access panel on my Whirlpool dishwasher (model WDF520PADM7).

By following the instructions in this short video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=995mtdO7rQg) , I was able to complete the replacement in under 10 minutes. You'll need a flat-blade screwdriver. The Retainer Clip - Black can be a little tricky to position into the opening, so have patience.

Keep in mind that the Retainer Clip - Black only contains ONE clip and so you must make sure to order TWO Retainer Clip - Black from PartSelect.

Door is designed to stay in place when opened. Door should hold partial or fully open.
Unscrewed brackets from underneath counter that hold dishwasher in place. Pulled dishwasher out of cabinet to access door hinges (approximately 8 to 12 inches). Released springs from door hinge (not necessary to remove spring from hole in dishwasher frame). Did not have to remove old sleeve because they tear and fall off. Slipped sleeve over door hinge to groove where they sit on hinge. Note: pulling hinge away from dishwasher a little. helps to complete installation.
Reinstall spring over hinge and check that door will stay a partial open. Slide dishwasher back in place and install screws from bracket to underside of counter.
My dishwasher only had two screws under counter to hold in place. Some installations have screws at sides also.

Soap dispenser broke
Watched a video via website. I'm 74 years old but it looked so easy I thought I'd give it a try. I DID IT!!! It was a fairly easy repair. I did run into one problem since my dishwasher is 16 years old. I had a problem with the connector but I swapped out the connector part on the new one with my old one and it worked. I'm back in business!!! Just find a video on the repair and you too will see how easy it is to replace.

Water leak at the bottom left corner of the door
If your are just a tiny bit "handy", you can do this job in about 30 minutes for $30. The rubber gasket comes off very easily from its location, just pull it off, than, using a small piece of wood, I used a shim, insert the new gasket in, an inch at the time, all around the frame. No more leak, and probably over $150 savings. A plumber or repair man would have charged $90 just to drive to my house, plus part & labor.
Thanks to PartSelect too, the part was delivered rapidly and the all ordering process was painless.

Top rack rear stop broken
Remove any pieces of the rear stop by prying it off the end with small flat blade screwdriver. Make sure rack is fully on the roller tracks and then carefully push the new plastic end piece onto the rack. Be sure to orient it correctly by checking the end piece of the other rack.
I ordered two and replace them both at the same time.
