Wheel on roll out basket broken off
Remove old adjusters, just break them off if necessary since they will be replaced. Then followed the instructions that came with the new kit. They were very good. Took my time on the first side, reading each step in instruction sheet. Second side went much faster, almost didn't need the instruction sheer.

Wheel will not stay on
The top rack in my dishwasher are on rollers and one of the wheel will not stay in place, By looking at the device that keep the wheel in place was broken and I have to order the side section because the device that hold the wheel in place is the side section, It took about 10 min to replace the part, so I have order two, and used one, and will keep the other just in case it will happen again, i will have one on hand, to keep my wife happy

The Rack adjuster broke a piece in the wheel that rolls the rack out.
The adjuster assembly had to be removed first and then all we did was fit the adjuster back in between the wire rack and we were back in business. It would have been a 150.00 service call without the cost of the part. Thanks for making this part available. It was shipped to our house in one day. That in itself makes life less stressful. We love your efficiency in getting things out fast.

The front wheel on the right side broke off
I figured out what was causing the problem and pulled the part number up on your parts list. The actual part had 3 different part numbers on so I reviewed all numbers. Your program had diagrams so it was easy to figure out which part I needed ~ thank you! I ordered the part and it came in 2 days ~ wow! As soon as I got it I installed it and I promise if tool less than 5 minutes to install! I had a quote of $75 diagnosis fee + parts and labor to repair. For $30.81 I fixed it myself AND I'm a female with NO experience! It was wonderful! Thank you soooooo much:)

The plastic pieces broke that hold the rollers on the top rack
We did exactly what another customer told us to do. I ordered the part, which came extremely fast. We carefully snapped off the pieces on the rack, sometimes using a small screwdriver. The most difficult part was getting the rack adjuster to slide into the part. We used the other side as a guide to put it back together. We problably saved $200 in service calls by doing it ourselves. I ordered 2 just incase the other one breaks also - it is kind of loose. Shame on Kitchenaid for not making a better product!!!

Wheel broke on Rack Adjuster
I read the other fellow's report and was sceptical of replacing this part, that quickly, without breaking any of the other plastic pieces involved in the process. Decided to try it and only ordered the one necessary part (which came in two days). I was able to detach and reuse all surrounding plastic hardware while installing the new rack adjuster (~$24), and did it all with just one small-sized screwdriver. It was less than 15 minutes as the other fellow said.

Broke retaining clip for roller
Took out the rack adjuster (which contains the retaining clip for the roller) and replaced with the new rack adjuster. No tools required. Everything snaps in and out. Ten minutes. You can't rush though because its all plastic and can break.

The wheels on the upper shelve broke off [both sides]
The repair was easy once I reviewed previous customer reviews. The brakes easily pop out and snap in, with only the use of a screw driver. I did however, wish that directions has come with the product. Otherwise, a simple and cost effective repair.

Right side of the top rack fell off - the wheel broken
Instructions to replace the rack adjuster as follows:
(1) Slide the top tray out of the dish washer by turning the blue clips/stop (right side toward the right and left side toward the left) and place the top tray on a working surface.
(2) slide the part #12 (positioner) and #11 (adjuster clip) upward until it come out of the defect side of rack adjuster and push #9 (clip) out (from the outside) of the top rack. Keep all three parts, you will need them to put the new rack adjuster back.
(3) take the cover out of the housing (the box part you can adjust the height of the top rack, part #8 and 10 in the drawing)) by using a flat head screw driver to open the cover (there are two stubs on the bottom of the cover that you will need to pop it open).
(4) take the defect rack adjuster out and place the new one in.
(5) put the cover back to the housing and make sure when you press the blue handle down the rack adjuster can slide up and down.
(6) put $12, #11, #9 back , slide the top tray back to the dish washer, and close the blue clip/stop on both side.
