The repair was very simple and would recommend that both the left and right side be done at the same time as this was the second one I had done in less than a year. I believe there is a design fault and the stem on the wheel is subject to wear and breaks quite easily. I would recommend that you leave one side on to provide guidance while replacing the other side. Watch for the "u" shaped clip when you unsnap the assembly as you will need to use it in the repair and it is not a part of the replacement assembly.

Before receiving the parts did a dry run to make sure the parts were easily installed. When the parts arrived I was able to install the adjuster in less than 30 minutes.

Remove and replace clips.

Took out old adjuster and snapped in new one.

This was a very simple repair. It took about 20 minutes only because my kids were interested and wanted to help. The parts arrived in one day! PartSelect was great and I will definitely use them again. 5 star service!

Very easy to repair with just a screw driver. No instructions or husband needed to complete the repair.

left side wheel broke on top rack. The axle holding the wheel broke. Part came as rack adjuster with 2 wheels and rack adjuster as one piece. took rack out of top rails. removed 3 clips holding adjuster to dish rack. replaced part and reused old clips to snap part into place. 2 weeks later wheel broke on right side of top rack. Ordered another rack adjuster part and replaced right side wheels. Seems like the plastic axle was crystalized and just crumbled causing wheel to fall off rack support. Part delivery was excellent, got it next day! Would be helpful if you got instructions or a picture of how to do it. But you can just figure it out.

1. Remove top rank. Do this by opening the clips at the end of each railing. This allows the rack to slide out. 2. With a screwdriver take apart the rack adjuster. Be careful not to break the adjuster clips. 3. Reassemble new rack adjuster with clips. 4. Hint: Take apart and reassemble each side separately. This way you will always have one assembled side as a reference when putting everything back together.

pieces snap together - having the new piece made it easier to figure out how to dis-assemble the broken part from what had to remain with the new one. Not obvious in all cases how it comes apart but figured it out in a few minutes - have to be careful not to break anything else.

Since there was an exact type rack adjuster (good shape) on the other side - I followed how it was installed. Problem was that I had to remove a plastic cover and since there were no instructions along with the new part I had to figure out how do to it WITHOUT breaking the plastic tabs on it. The screwdriver helped. There were two slide holders that I had to remember which side was correct and where exactly they went - again used the other side to guide me. The end results is that I had to take apart what I had done twice as it was not exactly aligned due to snap on plastic tabs that were not aligned correctly.

All parts snap together. Following the the rack on the right side, If i can do it anyone can. It was great to save the cost of a repair bill.

happened on right side of rack under warranty. Now, 4 months out of warranty, it happened on the left side. Front left "axle" / plastic wheel assembly disintegrated, leaving rack only supported by rear wheel. Replaced entire rack adjuster. Can be a little tricky how it latches onto rack - keep good track of where things went and/or keep one rack adjuster on rack (left or right) at all times to use as a guide.

The task was easy, but make sure that you take the upper tray out of the dishwasher and do the work on a flat surface. The brackets holding the entire assembly require some force to separate, be careful not to pull too hard as they can break. As a guide, use the side that is not broken as a template. It is unfortunate that you must purchase the whole bracket assembly, but I don't believe that it is possible to repair only a portion of the bracket.

Unsnapped both racks and replaced with both sides.

Ordered replacement adjuster, removed the old one, and installed the new one. Just have to be sure to re-attach new one in the same place as the old one. Very simple repair.
