Door is designed to stay in place when opened. Door should hold partial or fully open.
Unscrewed brackets from underneath counter that hold dishwasher in place. Pulled dishwasher out of cabinet to access door hinges (approximately 8 to 12 inches). Released springs from door hinge (not necessary to remove spring from hole in dishwasher frame). Did not have to remove old sleeve because they tear and fall off. Slipped sleeve over door hinge to groove where they sit on hinge. Note: pulling hinge away from dishwasher a little. helps to complete installation.
Reinstall spring over hinge and check that door will stay a partial open. Slide dishwasher back in place and install screws from bracket to underside of counter.
My dishwasher only had two screws under counter to hold in place. Some installations have screws at sides also.

Dishwasher would not start & green "Clean" light was flashing
After reading customer notes regarding the same problem I was having I ordered A new Heater Element & a High Limit Thermostat. I also ordered a Heating Element Nut and Rubber Washer in case I needed them. It took me quite some time to remove the dishwasher from under my counter. Once the unit was out and prepared to service it actually took only a few minutes to install the new Heater Element. I did't need the washer or extra Nut. I also decided to try the unit without replacing the thermostat. I cleared the diagnostics by pressing the "HEATED DRY, "NORMAL", "HEATED DRY", "NORMAL" buttons. After the controller reset the dishwasher was ready to run.

When dishwasher went from water fill to power wash the dishwasher would shut down and the front lights would flash
I had replaced every replaceable part over the years, and for the last time was able to get the board to work (1) last time in the "smart-wash" mode which told me the drive components (pumps) were working ok, so I determined the board was bad. The board was ordered on a thursday and delivered on a sunday (fedex), installed same day, took me at least an hour to get door apart and remove the wiring harness (8 of them) without breaking the harness or destroying the wires. Once installed and back together it worked very well. When I placed the order the person on the line emailed me a helpful video link (youtube) on how to get the door apart. Nice job !!

Soap dispenser broke
Watched a video via website. I'm 74 years old but it looked so easy I thought I'd give it a try. I DID IT!!! It was a fairly easy repair. I did run into one problem since my dishwasher is 16 years old. I had a problem with the connector but I swapped out the connector part on the new one with my old one and it worked. I'm back in business!!! Just find a video on the repair and you too will see how easy it is to replace.

Top rack rear stop broken
Remove any pieces of the rear stop by prying it off the end with small flat blade screwdriver. Make sure rack is fully on the roller tracks and then carefully push the new plastic end piece onto the rack. Be sure to orient it correctly by checking the end piece of the other rack.
I ordered two and replace them both at the same time.
